The original bar has a pretty strong fragrance. It don't smell like the other goat milk soaps I've tried. It lathers good. I don't know if the shea butter one is good or too fragrant. I have to use hypoallergenic soaps only.

The old Lever 2000 I used to use in my whole body, never an acne etc; tried it again recently, noticed the packaging was different, as well as the scent. It has become much more chalkier in formula and very drying. I finally let the pack I bought go..but I knew I wouldn’t be using it…

With a hint of cigarette ashes and stale air complimented by a moldy stained carpet, this soap should be renamed "Section 8 Apartment" because that's what it smells like. It has got to be the WORST smelling bar of soap I have ever used. I went from the spicy essential oil infused scent of Sasquatch to THIS crap from Tractor Supply? Nope. And yes, I logged in for the first time in years just to make this comment because it's just.... that.... bad. 😆

new ZEST is oily and greasy NOTHING like original. i either use the pricier DOVE soaps or BATH AND BODY shower gels on a loofah

My family used to use Lever 2000 a lot in the 90s. Today I noticed it in the store for the first time in a long time, and decided to buy it for old times sake. The product I purchased seems very different from the product in your video. The graphics on the packaging are different from those on your package, and i bought a pack of 6, with each bar in a rigid cardboard box. The shape looks different from yours, the shape looks like i remember it from the 1990s. I can’t say I remember the smell from the 90s well enough to say whether it is different now, but I would not say it is unpleasant. Also, my Lever 2000 was manufactured in Indonesia, not Mexico, and imported to North America through Unilever Canada in Toronto, then distributed in the US by Unilever of Trumbull, Connecticut. Oh, and I line in Texas.

I bought dr Squatch’s Pine Tar. Loved the scent but gone within 6 days. Assuming it hadn’t cured long enough and a one-off, I contacted Dr. Squatch thinking they’d send a replacement. Instead they offered me lessons in bathing and 15% discount on future overpriced products 🤷‍♂️

I use the gold bar and then use a body wash afterward. I use the soap as a base, then the body wash. It's takes all the dirt and sweat on my skin. To me, I like it.

Pears soap is not the same, it's smaller. Does not smell as good as it used to. It's not a hard long wearing soap, it's actually soft.

Pacific force is not as good as the original coast the eye opener. Does not lather as well either.

They stop selling it in many Asian countries. The lemon one is completely gone

I think Irish Spring has not only citrus, but also "green notes" and lots of clean musk. A cologne that smells like a more upscale/premium version of it is Jaguar for Men (the green bottle that first came out in the late 1980s).
