Wtf, for what reason do you keep locking on enemies? I can suggest that this way you make them think that FOX-1 is launched, when in reallity you launch fox-2, but there were situations when you try to launch missile at another guy while keeping lock on first target. In that situation, missile focus locked enemy automatically. That means you don't understand how this works. Aim 9M or L is termal missile, meaning it locks by itslef on target if it produces heat (like engine). Ut does not need radar guidenes and can be just "launched and forgotten". But if you lock on enemy with your radar, this fox-2 missiles will automatically search heat at position where locked enemy is. So if you want to launch multiple fox-2 missiles, just lock off your target and point aircraft to next target (or lock it with radar or point your helmet target system at it)

i have fly this F20A for 600-700match did u play with pc? keybind the primary weapon =key 1 above W keys, so when you fire Gun and additional gun you can choose AG or Gun or both, secondary weapon bind to R keys, you can switch aim9l aim7f or bomb by pressing keys, then set for Exit selected weapon to E keys, when going to reset just press E one time, its easy, 👍,
