Exactly, I was IN THE HOSPITAL, and my parents are worried about my grades, making me stay up to finish my homework, and they just put it aside that it might be the problem, I feel like their always comparing me to my brother and he wasn’t diagnosed with ADHD as soon as I was so he still had an entire year at least of doing this and I’m diagnosed so my parents follow everything I do to make sure I do it right and they keep putting me on new medications hoping for something to work, but it never is, and then when ever I start to talk about my physical help they just say “oh it’s hormones” no matter what I say
i needed this. thank you so much. i searched up reasons to stay alive and this is the first thing that came up. i have been rlly suicidal lately and im just not ok mentally with school, family, sports, and life

Thanks for this. As a depressed person it validates my experience. Part of what contributes to my depression is how exhausting it is because other people in my life (sometimes including me) expect so much out of myself that it does more harm than good
