Hopefully you married …
UPENN is fuggin trippin! 🤣
How did you pay your bills if you didn’t work and did not have savings??
New subscriber. I aspire to also become a CRNA.
Thank you for this video ❤. It was very informative 😊
Boss lady 💪🏿
I took the GRE twice. I hate it.
The majority of CRNA schools got rid of the GRE requirement. I wish that was the case for me, but but unfortunately, I had to study and take it to get into Anesthesia school. It was miserable.
Hello,is it possible for a Ghanaian registered nurse to be a DNP CRNA in the US? And are there scholarships available?
what crna school did taylor go to?
Hi, thank you for sharing your experience with us. So, how crazy difficult was your CRNA program? And what was the pass grade for each of your classes?
Can you explain in short what you did do since you did not work?
I took out student loans and lived off of the quarterly refunds
Is 3.00 gpa the lowest you could go for Applying
It depends on the program
I got in with a 2.96. my science grades were high though.
I got straight a’s with science but my school didn’t require chem I’m thinking of taking it and a patho course
That's the information i wanted. I searched a lot but never found it on Google clearly. I'm from india, and I completed bsc nursing. Can i become CRNA. What should i do and how to get admission and what are the fees. And what should I do next to get admission in CRNA. Is crna a doctoral program. What please tell me that is there any university providing CRNA in india?? 💖
You have to work in critical care 2 years that Icu then apply for crna schools, but I think you should watch people who are crna and you would get a better information
Thank you for sharing! Hope HARD was school?
Wow… so happy to come across these women that’s so professional ❤🎉
First of all you are so pretty, hard to believe that you are 20yrs into any thing! Secondly this was one of the most informative videos that I have seen on this subject. This has been a nagging question for me and your video gave me exactly the information I needed!👍🏾🙏🏽
Hi im a plus two computer science student i want to become a crna in germany what should i do?
Your scrub caps are everything!!
Please share where you get your scrub caps from??!?♥️
Did you live with a family member? I’m currently starting my path and leaving my family. They’re toxic and stress me out, I know if I move with any of them I’ll be deterred. If not, were your loans able to cover your rent?
I finished all my pre reqs and I’m taking organic chemistry and physics to be more competitive when I apply to crna school. I have a 4.0 gpa. Is there anything else I can do to stand out when I gain the icu experience and apply?
what grad level courses did you take?
Did you have a CCRN? Letters of recommendation from critical care providers/manager?
The ccrn was not a requirement back when I went to school. It is now. Yes I had letters of recommendation from the providers each program asked of me.
Ugh this makes me think it's impossible for me. I barely got out of nursing school with 3.02 GPA. 4 years MSICU, cross trained ER, and preceptor, but that's it. I'm a terrible test taker. I always get so much anxiety.
@erwindt7733 How as a nurse, do you make $250k? Whoa.
If you want it go after it Your undergrad GPA doesn't matter as long as it's a 3.0+ and you can always boost it by making the pre-reqs sciences you need anyway Organic Chem and Physics Your MSICU skills count you only need a year in ICU before applying Keep applying If you want it I know peeps who applied 5-7 times before being accepted Doesn't matter now They're CRNAS
@erwindt7733I wouldn’t change if that was my situation. Keep doing what you do. I was in a lot different situation than you. For me it makes sense to go to Anesthesia school. For one, I absolutely despised being a bedside nurse anymore. And it wasn’t making nearly as much money. I was eager to learn more. And I am thankful I ended up pursuing this career. Not only am I making over three times as much a year, but I am also so much happier with my job, autonomy, level up, respect from others, and opportunities.
@@ryanking4942a ton of hours and over time I’m sure.
What would you do differently?
Hai mama am a trained nurse anaesthetist currently practicing in Zambia,I want to apply for a job USA how can I go about it
You ever thought about mentoring? I plan to become a CRNA too. And I feel like our community needs more mentors for people of color. I want to see more of us.
I retired me mentoring services in July. Diversity crna is a great mentorship program though
@@Crystal_CRNAperfect! Thank you for the reference! ♥️
Me too .
Thanks for sharing & being honest.
Thanks for posting. I'm glad you said something about the cold rooms, that's really something to think about, I can barely function when I'm cold
Does it matter which state you are in?
Hi Crystal! Do you do mock interviews?
That’s where I wanna go! I live in Jersey. Thanks for sharing :)
😂😂😂😂
Love your voice and tone ♥️ Im considering the crna route. My biggest issue is that I'm worried ill be missing out on a lot of life stuff lol. Were you able to take small vacations on your break and/or go out on some weekends?
That's why she makes what she makes lol Gotta sacrifice
Yes please. Would love to learn
Hi, do I need any chemistry classes? I have my ADN from accelerated nurse program and just completed BSN with Capella university. Thank you.
Can I apply with a 5.0 scale cgpa
Can’t wait to learn so much from you
😭
How about stuff like rent ? While you're in CRNA school, do you simply live off of somebody else? I don't see any other way. Thank you for the help !
I'm from central California. If I'm fortunate enough to get selected for a program in California, I plan on sleeping in my car (I'd buy an SUV). I'd also have a gym membership for showers, high quality cooler for keeping food and ice in, and a small camping grill. There is no way I'm going to pay some ridiculous rent amount, in the cities where the schools are located at. I refuse And of course, I'll be saving up money while I get my ICU experience. Gonna push for 5 to 6 12 hour shifts weekly.
Hey, I pray to The Lord Jesus for you to be safe on your journey and I hope that everything works out for you on your journey! @@smashtc
Can you tell me how the program was? I wanna apply next year.
I was thinking of doing the same I’m a CNA in fl 😊 right now debating whether to get into paramedic or nursing
Does he have a TH-cam channel?
If I said that Anesthesia has been something i’ve been interested in since I was young girl. I really what to be a guardian over the patients during surgery and I want to be someone they can come to with any concern’s. I want to show them that they are in good hands and they are safe:)
What was your GRE score?
I took mine in 2004. The grading system was different back then. They changed it in the late 2000s

Is it difficult to go to school and maybe work a part time job?
Most programs do not condone you working. Now that they are all doctorate programs you may be allowed to work during the first year only
@@Crystal_CRNADo the programs have dorms or how they expect us to live?
@@fastfowardbutton1965 if you go to school in the town you already live in then you can stay at your house. If you go to school in another town or state then you’d need to find your own housing.
@@Crystal_CRNAHow do they expect us to pay our bills if we can’t work?
@@fastfowardbutton1965 if CRNA school is your plan, save as soon as you begin working as an RN, reach out to anesthesia groups about stipends they may offer and last resort is live off the refunds from your grad plus student loan.
Not easily accepted
factualy wrong. Doctors in Nursing barely make that much.
They make 200k, what drugs you on??
Where do you live and how much do they there? Cause most that I know make more that in CA, US.
It’s a fact . Do your own research.
