Olympic Weightlifting Motivation #2 Full Week of training. 286lb Snatch
Starting to heat up heading into the Texas State Championships in around 4 weeks. Beginning to train heavy singles again instead of multiple reps. I hit a 130kg snatch which is just 6kg under my pr as well as a couple muscle snatch PRs on Sunday. Slowly working back up on squats as well due to recovering from a minor knee injury.

Olympic Weightlifting Training & technique Work

Had to back off training a little bit recently so the weights are lighter than usual due to a minor knee injury. Slowly working the weights back up and focusing on moving well for now. Let me know what you guys think or if there is anything in particular you would like to see.
Olympic Weightlifting training & motivation. 130kg/286lb Block Snatch & 160kg/352lb Clean
มุมมอง 1.1K21 วันที่ผ่านมา
Week of 11/26 - 12/1. Hit a new block snatch PR of 130kg/286lbs and I did it for 2, 5kg over my previous best of 125kg/275lbs for 1. I asked my coach to go up but he instead told me I could do 1 more set at 130 if I wanted. Working towards my goals of becoming 81kg Texas State Champion for the 3rd year in a row as well as becoming University National Champion. #olympiclifting #snatch #clean #cl...

First week back training coming off of 3 days off following my first international competition. I earned gold at the III FISU America Games just over a week ago. Body was feeling real tired getting back into the reps this week. I’ve decided I’m going to start trying to make some videos with compilations of my lifts each week similar to Nate Cerwinske. Let me know if there is anything y’all woul...
you know your feed is far gone when its all small weightlifting channels
So you’re telling me you don’t have weightlifting house on your feed 😂. They’re not small anymore
See a 130kg snatch, likes it. Missed 121 myself today, fuck it I got it next time.
Thats the mindset that keeps people progressing in this sport. You’ll get it next time 🤝
That low hang is a thing of beauty

@@ericzunker360 I pulled 117,5kg this year at the age of 57 and at a weight of 73kg and 186cm ;-) only after a few months of deadlifting ..man I was so proud . Keep on lifting Eric
@@skullboy1967 Thats awesome man, I hope to still be lifting when I'm the same age as you. The most joy I get from lifting is knowing how much more I do now than my past self could do.
Most people when the try to lift 100kg of the ground , they feel like it’s glued to the ground 😂 Good job man supaaah strong 🎉
@@skullboy1967 i appreciate that bro
Amazing lift
Impressive. 👍
Thanks!
Impressive
AWESOME lift brother!
@@jsil_ thank you!
He had to drop it
The platform and plates are meant for you to drop them
this is impressive, but also looks painful on the joints. Im no professional, but rapid movements like this might be okay for short durations but continous workouts like this may cause long term joint issues.
I do a large amount of mobility work outside of just lifting in order to enable myself to do this as comfortable as possible. Personally, I havent had any joint issues yet and I've been training this way for 6 years now.
@@ericzunker360 Thats sick that you haven't had any joint issues. Its definetly amazing, I wouldnt be able to pull it off. if it works for you and is comfortable as well keep it going man! 🤘
Slay
I thought this was a video game at first 😂
Bros caked up

DAMNNN
Just curious, is there a training reason to not stand all the way up on reps like these (like just focusing on the catch)? Or was it just a matter if the weight being heavy?
Yeah, the reason I don't stand all the way up is I don't have an issue being able to stand up once I have the bar secured overhead. To clarify though, the 3rd rep was a miss. So typically if I am doing multiple reps I only stand up the last one
Gyatt
You did that easily
Amazing

All in the technique. How do we know. Cause I could bench press what he does but could never do that. Take great strength and technique. Good job 👏 keep it up young man
My best bench is only 238lbs lol. But I've very rarely trained it.
