My point is that in 1970s, play schemes were much less complex. Tom Landry designed and called both D and O plays. that would be hard to do now. Players were smaller, not as fast, or as FB intelligent, as well. Ɓen would be playing in a better position then than TB now. You are correct in that Field's hype is concerning to me.

KC averaged 22 pts and gave up 17 pts last year. 9th in O and 2nd in D. The Steelers averaged 18 pts and gave up 17 pts, as well. A fluke, but D can still win a ring. KC was leading or close to it in WR drops that hurt them. The bad news is they are rebuilding their O now.

this was the sort of pick you have to think about to like. What makes it feel kinka sh*tty is there were other players on the board who would have emotionally been more satisfying. Both corners for example. 5th Tackle VS the number 1 corner doesn't FEEL good..

Also Beaux Limmer OC Arkansas Height: 6 - 4 | Weight: 302 lbs | RAS: 9.83 is a monster athlete and maybe the real last resort. He also plays guard. He isn't plug and play but the issues he has seem mostly coachable. I've thought of taking him as a backup many times in my mocks.

I run a few hundred mocks a day. I live for this time of year lol. 90% of the time where I look at what I got and am extremely happy I do three things. 1. Trade down, once, preferably two times. Don't go past 32-34. 2. Pick Frazier first. Our trade down picks get us an option next for a WR or DL or CB capable of contributing. 3 Pick Kiran Amegadjie as our third pick. Don't go past 70ish He will need time to fill out and clean up his technique but the more you look into him the more you will see his upside is 1st round quality. 4. Keep Graham Barton in mind. He mocks as a better overall player than Frazier. To do this the Con Man should be working the phones doing everything he can to make this happen.

Tomlin has a tendency to play people out of position and then cut them because they fail. Why is Brodrick Jones on the RT?

Just like it’s a myth the Steelers are a WR factory, I don’t believe there is a ton of players who want to play for Tomlin. Yeah are there some that think it would be cool, but I doubt they are making concessions to their wives about moving to Pittsburgh just to play for Coach T. The only players we get are older players looking for that veteran day off and no discipline. Who Haden? That was like 10 seasons ago when he came on board.

Speaking the truth on Tomlin. I’m hoping that the Smith hire is more of Tomlin’s end is coming sooner rather then later and they got a coach there who has some HC experience and is the Steelers type, run oriented.

When you have 3 of the highest paid players in league at there position on your defense and you need to bring in depth behind them because you know your going to be without them for parts of the season, you are a fucking idiot of a GM and coach! Imagine a restaurant needing to bring in another chef just for those days your head chef is away. Cut Cam and trade TJ 😢 and rebuild this team. Oh and cut Conner for good measure.
