I have been on a mission to acquire the best salt. When I say best, I mean 'clean'. I was duped for years thinking Himalayan pink salt was the purest, but now i'm finding out contamination studies show it might be one of the worst besides table salt. My question is 1.) Do you have any studies to show it's purity 2.) Are you in the vicinity of the 'sewage' concerns I've heard about in England? Thanks in advance, I am looking forward to trying your salt and becoming a life customer!! Whatever info you can give me would help :-)

I recieved my package of maldon salt today, it indeed is superior salt
First recipe I've seen with cauliflower leaves and I too always wondered what to do with them. I often find they're quite dirty and saw the same on yours, do you rinse thoroughly or just let it be?

When is Maldon harvested?....most likely spring but it is Dec in the USA and I believe it is seasonally better to used earth mined salts in the winter.

I love Maldon sea salt; have rarely used any other salt in my kitchen since I found it some 20 years ago ... BUT ... recently I have become worried because of those untreated sewage spills that have become the new normal in England ... do these affect the quality of the salt in any way, and if they don't, why not?
I’m genuinely addicted to the stuff and will bring it with me in holidays 😂 (if self catering and we cook)
CONGRATULATIONS......... Gotta say though, much prefer the minimal look previous packaging as it's less "busy". I know the treasure lies inside....love this product.
