Carole Taylor: A life of service and giving back
Carole Taylor broke ground as a journalist and has never stopped since. She has always seen service and giving back as part of life, which has driven her to a career path that includes being a chancellor of Simon Fraser University and a political career as an MLA and Minister of Finance. Most notably, she introduced North America’s first carbon tax, which served as a model for other provinces and states, as well as ending the corporate capital tax on banks.

มุมมอง 110ปีที่แล้ว
Xwalacktun is one of Canada’s most well known Squamish and Kwakwaka'wakw sculptors and carvers. His wood carvings can be found throughout the province, telling stories of healing and growth. Grand Chief Stewart Phillip is a clueless moron. Had it not been for his opposition in 2016, the Northern Gateway pipeline would be nearing completion today. Now that it's too late he reverses himself and wants the pipeline to be built.

Thats awesome Chef. ❤BEAUTIFUL PEACE ❤BEAUTIFUL LOVE ❤BEAUTIFUL CANADA
enjoy your show every week very informive thanks keep up the good work Tom
Hi carol and team. I watch your Journal on chek, because I appreciate your interview style getting quickly to a probing question. Your interviews with mayors of merritt and recently port coquitlam were so interesting to me, as news does not capture local issues. I really appreciate your show, the no nonsense get to the question of your guest. You have been a politician whos views I have not always agreed with, but that doesn't mean any disrespect. Carol you have a big brain, a history in govt, and today I appreciate the candor the show allows. Please ask to have the show extended to 1 hour.
He is proud of punjabis
This video touch my heart deeply glad he became a singer and his son got healed ❤
He might have been good at one time. Now he owns too much and people no longer have choice. He's got enough money, he should sell it off and promote competition.
Yes, Very brilliant human being, indeed! Thank you ! 👍👍👏👏🙏🙏
This interview made me cry at the end when he say he got signed and when his son got the all clear so glad ❤❤
Not all heroes wear capes.
Like a breath of fresh air. Wish more people could see that.
First Nations in BC have a diverse history of helping, violence, raids, slavery and caring. This is quite a dichotomy of beliefs? This raises a lot of questions. Or at least it should.
❤❤❤
This woman should be PM. Amazing integrity.
Sorry to hear that I live in burns lake my father shot himself back in 1977 I was awake and was 7 years old a week before Xmas my father died I went through a lot of physical abuse growing up by my own mother and catholic teachers I had a lot of problems I didn’t know what to do instead of becoming a drunk or turn to drugs I also grew up talking in my native tongue had hard time speaking in English but when my uncle was watching a movie of late Bruce Lee I didn’t know nothing about him I thought Bruce Lee was native I said to myself I wanna be fast like that Indian lol but I got into boxing afterwards I started learning karate from books and I kept training myself because I couldn’t afford to get in karate club a friend of mine trained me in Shotokan karate in the 90’s I got into kung fu still enjoy it now 😊
MICHAEL BUBLE, UM HOMEM DECISIVO, EDUCADO, ELEGANTE, E É DONO DE UMA VOZ LINDA. AMO SUAS MÚSICAS, TODAS.
Respect her for what she stood for.
Dude wasn't even raised by natives... what a disgrace
See jim pattison made his money with low intrest loans that you the bank customer payed for initiall
Cruel, heartless psychopath.
Good Story!
I'm just here to read all the dumb comments about how Bonnie Henry was so hated during Covid
That orange hair lady is hard to listen to She seems off
Bramham was the only columnist I would read after living overseas for 20 years. Call me jaded. I wish she was still here coz I need an investigative reporter to check some BC municipal shenanigans. *sigh I do wish her well in whatever endeavours she pursues now. Thank you for all your work, Daphne!
Jim was hit with a five union strike in the early nineties that involved his outdoor advertising company in B.C. He put the call out for willing employees who worked in his outdoor divisions across Canada to help him keep the operation running, and I was immediately on the first flight. He truly treated all of those who were willing to risk the dangerous situation absolutely great. 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😊
So you were a strikebreaking scab, crossing the picket line and stabbing your fellow worker in the back for some extra cash. You are a class traitor and its sad to see you gloat about betraying your fellow worker so a billionaire could keep his profits flowing uninterrupted. Proud to be a Kapo
A woman of absolute grace! Great interview!
”silver ’vette with gold wheels”...bet CCR would have wished they had Mr. Allen taking care of their b’ness....good dude, in it for the right reasons. Nice insights from his storied career.
I dont think so. If you want your land back, you can try and take it, good luck winning with your sticks and stones. Youre lucky we let you stay here.
Buble💙🎵 Inteligente, divertido, elegante, voz prodigiosa.... El mundo te ama💙 💙🎵💙🎵💙🎵💙
Michael, 💙 Un regalo que nos da la vida!! Love you 💙🎵💙🎵💙🎵

Thank you for the wonderful interview. Would you mind correcting the spelling of this Canadian Legends name on the video? It says Buce Allen instead of Bruce Allen. 😊
DONT EXAGERATE...JAMES SGAVICK HAS OTHER THINGS TO SAY...JOY MY ANUS 😂🤔💩🖕🏽
Just 2 weeks.
very informative
A great story by a beautiful couple....thanks for sharing.
You will be more famous than Karla Hulmoka
It wasn’t hard on you was it ? No preventatives for the elderly. Nothing and they died alone. Nurses were swabbing dead bodies. BCers will be holding you accountable
Protecting the health of BS - corrected the title for you.
A True Example of Leadership. Congrats Rick! ❤
The singing of the song for Ethiopia was a great opportunity for singers who didn't have a hit for a long time There is a video where this guy screams that the Canadians are going to make a better song compare to the Americans and British 😮 I don't think so.😂
That’s pretty funny because I’m the owner there she’s me and I’m him URFAN
Repent Henry.
Bonnie modern day medical fascist. She should be in prison.......
protecting? dont u mean destroying? my BIL got the pointy now a year later hes got terminal cancer; same scenario as my neighbor...the horror stories i have heard about it are right off the charts, rednation is intent on taking over north america, first u vyrus infect them, them you foist a supposed solution on them, pay off/threaten the officials/med staff to get this done, dont tell the truth of what u see in the hospitals...
