how sad...all these people in prison...you can't tell me they are all truly bad people...i'll bet some of them are political prisoners...didn't pay a bribe....couldn't pay a traffic violation or whatever. I've no doubt there's corruption within their prison system. Just like in the U.S., where people are thrown in prison for something like 'pot', all to feed the FOR-PROFIT prison 'system'

if it is used properly this can be a form of theropy, violent criminals are probably not in this, ya know murder rapists, Child molestors, inmates who shaked other inmates. Lock them away with nothing and in 20 years you will release a beast with no remembrance of how to communicate with others.

The way that most countries choose to handle "misfits" isn't working and the statistics prove that so why is this frame of thought still widely believed?

And its this closed mindedness that will continue to handicap this country. You should research other countries in Europe prison/rehabillitation facilities. Crime rate is below anywere else in the world they have the lowest reoccuring offenders rate and the the positives just go from there. People that grow up with no positive influences or suppoting community like sports/dance ect have a higher percentage of being in trouble with the law, not continueing there education ect.

I still disagree, They are in prison for a reason, some of them are probably in their for life because they murdered someone, they are a bunch of lowlife misfits that probably will do no good for the community, so I couldn't care less if they offed one another, keeps them from being released and killing/robbing/raping etc. an innocent person. Many inmates will commit a crime soon after being released - just to get back inside to the only thing they know

Dude, they are paying for their crimes. Many of these inmates have maximum sentences and are here for life. Dance is something they do to temporarily forget their problems and regrets. Gang riots have dropped to almost nothing in this prison because of this.

No, it's a real prison. My cousin was an inmate. We went to see their performance. It IS unbelievable, but it's real. Not to be stereotypical... but.. they ARE filipino.. VERY talented people.

For some reason, I find it hilarious when they(the 'zombies') start spilling out of the little doors. XDDD

Sounds like you don't know a thing about prison, things like this are what keep them calm and not starting riots every day. You can't keep people from enjoying themselves at all otherwise you'd have all sort of issues with suicide, killings, riots and so on. Trust me they'd much rather be somewhere else, but you have to make the best of your time.

I understand this is a good piece of work, but they're fucking INMATES, they should be paying for whatever crime put them there, not having a good time while taxes pay for it. Total bullshit!

I'm not sure you guys realize, but you can get Maximum Security for Littering or Grafitti. Most of these guys probably have what we would call minimum sentences, or not even a sentence. Also keep in mind that masturbation is decapitation in the Philippines. Whatever they did to get there can't be much worse that what almost of all you do every night.

I dunno...I'd think this was pretty fun. Especially when I got to see how awesome I looked doing it. Just saying. Don't get me wrong...I completely see and agree with your point, but don't try and say that dancing at this level is not fun.
