@@vikamemoires I knew that they’ve been producing most of their bags in China. Not sure if there are still some that are from Europe. All my le pliages nylon bags and slgs are from China. I was surprised to see Mauritius actually haha

@@kitk4tsworld yeah, I bought mine in London and it’s also made in China. However, I bought Le Foulonne cardholder a couple of days ago in London and it’s made in France, hehe

@@frandoherty thank you. I can’t believe it has almost been a year since it happened. I still wonder where my bracelet is now from time to time but for the most part, I’ve forgotten about it. Still sucks when I remember but I try not to be sad about it.

@@sweetf8660 yes! If you go over certain amount, you pay tax. I don’t remember exactly how much.

@@kitk4tsworld thanks. I know you will, if you declare them. Because, it is only $800 per person is the exemption. I heard some they don’t pay bec. they don’t declare, but if you will randomly chosen to be inspected, then you will be in trouble.😫That is why it is better to declare them at least, even if not all you bought, than say, nothing to declare, which is quite unbelievable especially if you came from Europe.

@@sweetf8660 yes that is correct but I don’t know how much exactly we paid. I also heard that it can also depend on the officer. Some ppl have declared before way over the allotted amount and not have had to pay at all. I always declare because I am afraid they will seize my items if they found it without me declaring.

@@elif86elif hi. They have a smaller version called the wedding band. This one is the bigger one which is the classic version. As to why I wear it on my middle finger, it’s just where I want to put it. No significant meaning or anything. Just a style.

aww sorry to hear that. When I reached out to them, they said it's a new "way" of constructing the bag so maybe I just got a dud. But i opted to return it bc I don't want a bag that will fall apart after few use. GIven, it may not, but didn't want to gamble. Hopefully yours is holding up ok?

tbh, I haven't had a chance to switch out to the long strap. Since I did the review of that short strap "opening" easily, the bag has been stored in my closet. So IDK if the long strap witll have the same problem. Someone suggested to attach the clip facing the outward and haven't gotten a chance to do it. I think the whole clip opening easily really turned me off so now it's just sitting. I actually listed it so it' just waiting to be sold.

I have the exact same bag but in the bigger size from Maison de sabre that I use everyday. I clip my straps with the opening facing outwards and never had any issues with unclipping.

@@2cute2b91 someone suggested this and I have yet to try it. I haven't switched into it so I didn't get a chance to try this solution. I am also finding myself over mini bags as my needs have changed since having baby #2. Thank you for the response!

@@littlebitoflux aww thank you. It was def shocking to see it. I don’t think I’ve ever had this kind of experience before. But it’s all good. I returned it and the SA was very apologetic. Turned out, it was a bag from another store so it must have been a display. She told me that normally if they play an order in the store, it will be a store transfer unless no store has it then they will pull from the warehouse. So next time that I order, I will make sure to either order online or ask my SA to request the item to be from the warehouse.

That ring is so so pretty too! You can’t really go wrong with either. I personally don’t like snakes so anything from the serpenti collection is not for me but a lot if ppl love that collection.

Actually I never have to adjust it. Once it’s there, it never moves. It helps if you have the right size. If you have a looser ring, it might move but because it’s not necessarily top heavy, I imagine it would still stay in one place.

Yes similar feeling but not sure if it’s the same material. Unfortunately there are so many leather variation out there and I’m not very well versed in all of them. This one does feel like taurillion with its soft, matted finish.

The strap is super comfy. No issues with dogging whatsoever. I think it helps that the material is really supple but also, you can’t really load the bag too much to make it super heavy so I think that helps.

yea, I think the loulou is more hardwearing d/t the difference in leather but I also don't bang around m purses, so maybe that also helps. Thanks for the tip about the puffer though. I think I still really like it but I am so put off by this unboxing that IDK if I'll get it again or get something else entirely, either from YSL or another brand. We will see!!! I was not going to upload this because as you can see, my thoughts after finding out this issue was all over the place but I figured it would be useful for people who might be thinking about getting this particular bag size and color so I uploaded it anyway. I’m so bummed about this but I’m glad I was able to return it.

The bag is holding up well after few weeks of constant use. The only thing that I have issues with is the buckle/strap attachment. I find that it’s easily detaching without me wanting to detach it so either the clips needed to be more stiff or I just got a dud. I haven’t used the crossbody strap so I can’t speak for that one but the short strap drives me crazy when it detaches.

​@@kitk4tsworld I have this bag. Easy solve is to make sure that the clips are facing outward rather than inward. I haven't had any issues with them facing that way.
