    If you’re upset then report it, but most of the “toxicity” are in competitive action games. Most companies that complain about players being toxic don’t have any safe grades to prevent players from becoming tilted. And it’s normally not a problem, because players aren’t reporting it. Most obvious example is Overwatch, the game punishes you for getting mad, and doesn’t reward you for being nice. Also is a game that bans you for mild cursing. In a game with cursing. Also having vc being turned off default isn’t a great idea. Hot take parents should parent their children.

    Amazing video!! I fully agree with all of your points. Also having only recently experienced axiom (beforehand I built solely by hand - or with limited worldedit) I can say that it completely revolutionised my building experience in a profoundly positive way. Having tools similar to those I'm used to using in 3d software made building the massive maps for stk so much more gratifying - and I don't see a way in which those maps could have been made as great as they were in time for thankmas without the incredible power axiom offered.

    As someone who plans to spend a LOT of time building in Creative in Hytale, I second this 10,000x. This needs to be spammed to every Hytale Twitter account, no lie. The randomize placement direction for foliage is HUGE, but would love a "noise" scale randomizer for placement of brushes for things like grass or paths. Anyways, fantastic list and I hope Hytale impliments all of these changes!

    great video. i think a limitation for them is that they might be trying to get all of these tools to work well with mobile and console control schemes. I think many of the changes you suggested would still work, but I almost feel like they would need have an 'advanced mode' toggle (maybe not enabled on some platforms), because most people (likely kids) working on their creative worlds probably just want to place some prefabs, and maybe copy and paste things around, but would get overwhelmed with too many tools and menus. But having the advanced tools to be able to do everything you talked about would be nice for people trying to do bigger builds

    You have some great ideas for editing tools but the consoles, phones and other tablets don’t have to many button layout. Even with the tap, double tap, hold, and combine does not compare to a keyboard and mouse. While tablet and phones will need those tools on the UI, which could clutter the players view. Making it harder for those players to see what they’re building.

    Dragging to the hotbar and to the trash slot is unecessarily clunky. It would be better if you could hover over the prefab and press one of the numbers you want to assign it to, and also to remove from the hotbar a simple right mouse button keypress would suffice.

      Dragging items around is how the player interacts with their inventory already, but I agree that pressing the numbers to assign it to your hotbar would be a nice additional feature!

    Have they mentioned anything related to LOD and render distance? I'd really like to see a proper LOD system like every other game ever. Distant Horizons and FarPlaneTwo are mods for the minecraft that accomplishes what I'm looking for.

    Thanks TH-cam for this incredible video recommendation and of course thank you for this video! I'm not sure, but I believe Moulberry has worked for Hypixel in the past, and I don't know how their relationship ended (if it was bad or something)... and if I'm wrong on this, he's at least the creator of one of, if not the biggest Hypixel Skyblock mod (NotEnoughUpdates), so they know him and his work 100%

    Great video! Many of your points are valid and well thought out, and drawing inspiration from Axiom is a great idea. The additional features you suggested would definitely enhance the creative experience. While this is clearly an early-stage implementation, as you said, we’ve only seen one part of the creative inventory, so there’s likely more functionality yet to be revealed-and possibly placeholders-meaning a lot could change in the next 1-2 years. That said, I agree that the UI and keybindings, like copy/paste, feel underdeveloped for an initial iteration. I’d also love to see a few additions to the system as it evolves, so here is my additional 1c (yes i wanted to write more, I love getting creative in this kind of way) : Progress Tracking: For large pastes, a progress indicator and the ability to split operations into smaller chunks (like AsyncWorldEdit in Minecraft) would help avoid performance issues. Visual outlines of active areas during pasting could ensure clarity, and optionally locking these areas for multiplayer could prevent conflicts. Improved Prefab Selection: The prefab menu overhaul you mentioned is great, but constantly navigating into the menu feels tedious. An optional UI overlay (e.g., a searchable sidebar with recently/most-used items, brushes, and prefabs) could streamline the workflow significantly. Granular Undo/Redo: Adding granularity to undo/redo-e.g., undoing on a per-block basis or by groups of blocks-would make revisions much more flexible. Spectator Build Mode: A "do-not-trigger" mode could be expanded into something like Minecraft’s spectator mode but with block placement and destruction capabilities. Terrain Editing: Noise-based terrain editing tools would be amazing for creating and adjusting landscapes in real time, like sculpting mountains or biomes with live parameter adjustments. Prefab Placement Refinements: Allow placing multiple prefabs/blocks at once, adjusting them collectively before confirming placement. This could also enable translucent merging of structures to simplify building complex designs. Build-Structure Mode: Introduce a mode where every block placed is automatically part of a new prefab structure. This would allow live adjustments and avoid the area selection issues of WorldEdit to save something. It would also make working in crowded or uneven areas much easier by letting builders directly preview additions of e.g. larger structures, especially if you can also manipulate the currently placed blocks on all axes and with all the other tools you would have available when placing / modifying a prefab. Overall, there’s definitely massive potential here, and it’s exciting to see the progress so far. Looking forward to seeing how these tools develop, and of course your opinion on it ;)

      Lots of good suggestions here! I did think about adding a UI overlay for prefab selection, and I feel like it's something that should definitely be added to a potential editor mode, but maybe not in the casual builder mode, my intention here was to create an intuitive design that uses the hotbar, which would be very easy to use for the average player

      ⁠yesss, I was also thinking of a potentially more advance “editor mode” with more complex features additionally to the standard UI - since of course a lot of players will use the standard builder mode but only a relatively small number will actually create high quality content for larger distribution, but this is probably the most relevant group for Hytales long term success, which means if they provide a good set of inbuilt features for those creators, everyone will benefit from it. And regarding just redesigning the standard UI with the current hotbar usage: I think you greatly improved usability with your ideas 👍

    great video! i really hope the creative inventory will feature things like Tags for block color, material, theme, mod, custom tags etc. minecraft’s creative inventory right now is horrible; i keep forgetting the name of blocks and can’t find them anymore (especially with lots of mods installed), and the inventory itself just gets cluttered by constantly using pick block which isn’t great either. deleting items from my inventory shouldn’t require me to drag each one manually into the trash, wish you had a shortcut to just delete the item/block your mouse is hovering over or smth

    something I have always wanted was to create a box inside a box brush that is a 'no place zone', so I can have a preset that I constantly edit the 'zone box' for to then fill in the details later, such as a ruined city. The only argument against this is manually breaking and placing things, which is a redundant argument for brush boxes as a whole to exist so idek how to refute this.
