Is this Blue or Black group? The guy in front of you cuts directly across to the track as soon as he enters the track, which we were told specifically not to do in the riders meeting.

i had only been playing the guitar about 6 months when i youtubed this song. not that i sound any better now but every bit of advice is appreciated lol . . 10 more years of the coast guard and maybe by then i'll be good enough to entertain my hometown or at least family reunions :-)

thanks for the advice, but i mainly got on youtube so my family back home could see what i've been doing in my spare time living on the other side of the world :-) i'll maybe invest in band equipment but not until that money could be earned from playing lol. . . "years from now lol . ."

try to keep your arm from going up and down when you strum. just move your hand and twist your wrist. that will help you strum smoother. watch me play dixieland delight if u need an example. good voice, bad guitar.
