So I decided to separate my daily journal to my mini art journals and here I started this journal! I'm gonna take longer to finish this one but I am finishing the daily journals way faster. Just come along this ride.

I just came across your video looking for new journaling inspo and I can't help but to comment how soothing your voice is! It is really matches the chill and cozy vibe we all love in this kind of videos. Also, while I'm at it, I love the way the pages turned out, but mostly I loved the way you weren't scared of making mistakes or changing up everything, like when you started covering the green paint at 7:02 . I, myself, often forget that journaling doesn't have to be perfect and photo-ready (not saying yours wasn't lol). And, actually, something I'm also a bit intimidated by is painting in my journal, although those orange accents you added towards the end in 14:18 really tied everything together, so I'll definitely be trying something like that on my next project. By the way, where do you get the supplies you showed in 2:12 ? They looked so pretty!! I live in a very small town and it's kind of difficult to use anything other than pictures I took, since there's no big art stores. I'd honestly love more of this type of videos, and maybe you could explain some more your thought process while journaling, that would be very interesting to watch. Anyways, love the content, keep up the good work :))
@@anaemeeme oh my gosh thank you so much for this kind comment!!! I appreciate it a lot! My supplies I get them from mostly online a combination of stickii club for the stickers and other stationary sites that sell the cool little papers! Also yes it took my a long time to realize that journals are just for fun and unwind after a week so I try to go with the flow as much as I can. Again thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed!

@@thriftstorelumberjack oh I love when they send the free stickers! I hope you have fun working on it. That’s the one I’m using right now and I’m 13 pages in more or less. Which type of paper did you choose?
@@lezlyearts I believe I got the line grid. I'm experimenting between line and dot grid to see which I like better. I've swapped it up a bit in my different versions of Field Notes. I think I like dot grid the most so far. I'm currently filling up a Field Notes Expedition and the paper in it is amazing!

Do you glue two pages together? I just bought the spring edition of Field Notes and I wonder how the pages will hold up.
Since I only do a little bit of watercolor here and there I don’t need to glue two pages or anything. It’s a pretty nice sturdy paper

These art journal videos are so relaxing. I enjoy seeing how the pages comes together slowly by layering all those pretty papers, ephemera and stickers. I was wondering if these are inspired by songs, poems, quotes or a little bit of everything.
Thank you 😊 and they are usually inspired by songs but if there’s a poem or anything that I see that inspires me I use it for journaling purposes lol

Seems like this month’s box had fun art supplies! I would love to try some of those chunky pencils. I really like how your illustration turned out.
Thank you! I loved the pencils but I’m just wondering how I’m gonna sharpen them lol but it was fun to work with them
@@lezlyearts Stabilo has their own sharpener for these pencils, sadly, the common jumbo size sharpener don’t work for those pencils. Or using a blade but, I try to stay away from that method since I’m clumsy as F and I don’t want to lose a finger 😂 If you have better stability/ control then using a blade is a great way to get those chunky boys sharpened.
@@IridescentSiren yeah it would be best to buy the sharpener I don’t trust myself with a blade either 😅😅
This was such a cool sketchbook idea, just the artsnacks related art. Very colorful and fun illustrations. I was laughing whenever I saw the guy with the blue hair, like: oh, look another one lol I miss getting in the mail artsnacks, but they send out so many pens and pencils. Like bruh, I have an endless collection of pencils and fineliners…send something else lol 😵
