I was angry with the situation, but I'm over it. I'm taking his Dad's word for it. Money was probably a factor, but in the end he felt BYU would be a better fit for him personally/spiritually, or whatever. I'm not going to hate on him for it. Moving on.

If utah had a $300k package for Tanuvasa, but BYU let him know he’s worth $800k, that’s not tampering, but just friendly advice. Once he went into the portal and officially saw that higher number was real, and Utah then finally offers the same, you can’t blame him for choosing the better school who is solely responsible for getting him what he’s worth. The yewts would have never been fair if they weren’t forced to.

My guess is that byu tampered to get him in the portal with more money, Utah matched, and he ultimately chose byu. I wonder if playing time factored in as byu is more of a sure fire bet to be the main guy when you look at the talent Utah has at DT.

I think most are done with the story. He moved on and is not coming back. Sucks that he left but this is the new college football.

I'm not going to get excited about Coach Whittingham's cryptic answers, I believe we all are exhausted with how he handled the Cam Rising QB situation. Until it's a GO for Singer, Utah needs to be searching for a WR1 for what could be an explosive 2025 offense? GO UTES!

Unfortunate how Cam is going out but he needs to do what's best for him. He brought two Pac-12 Championships to The University of Utah and energized the fanbase to new heights. He's already a Ute legend and it was a gift watching him play. Good luck to you Cam Rising in all your future endeavors. GO UTES!

I think he’ll try for the league. I could see him getting an UDFA contract with a team, just like Snoop did before him. He’s got the resume and skill set (if healthy) to make a team as a QB3. I don’t see him going into coaching until all his playing options are exhausted. He just loves to play and compete!

I think if he gets a 5th year, he’ll be our WR1. Hopefully he’ll get it!

This means Dorian is trying to come back and not liking his potential draft position. If he doesn't get the extra year, I'll feel horrible for this kid, who probably would have been a day 2 draft pick if it weren't for Utah's offensive woes hampering him in what could have been another huge year for him. With Dampier under center, Dorian would be a great WR1 in the Beck offense.

Wish you would’ve just made a separate channel for the other and kept the Utes as there own channel, I will check back for the Utah videos

I don't have any inside information but have thought for years that Cam would be added to the staff when his playing days were done. Guess we'll see! It's quite mysterious at the moment.

Only Rich Rod will know what to do with the new recruit. Your everyday fan has no clue about coaching or what a coach like Rich Rod is capable of doing. Most non WVU fans can't even point on a map where WV is in America. I think it is hilareous how all the non WVU fans are freaking out about the fear of WVU becoming the new Big 12 flagship team like they were in the Big East.

I rated him a 3 star, but I may be clouded because I know this is a need after we lost so much off of the line. That run blocking score will have to improve, but RRod's offense simplifies the plays for the line, so that might help.

I'd rate him a 1 star, def a project. Not sure if he will end up as a depth QB or switch positions. At Jax State, Rich converted a QB to be his WR1.
