A brief overview on stabilizers(backings) used in machine embroidery.
This video is not meant to be a complete review on all stabilizers as there are wayy too many to name. But it does give a good breakdown of the most commonly used types.

On the vid I mistakenly showed me putting the nuts on the bracket backwards. The rigid side should be screwed on facing the hoop with the smooth side of the nut facing out. This makes sure that the brackets stay tight and not loose in the middle of a project. We dont want none of that 😅
