Thanks for the instructions. It's terrible game design where they used the color for action (yellow) twice during the game flow. I instinctively pulled the rod when I saw the yellow ring and the game didn't tell me if I'm too early or too late. This was after having fought bosses where seeing the yellow ring means you must take action immediately or lose.

this IS the normal way to fight. the game tells you exactly what moves you're able to do. its your fault for lacking imagination if you ignore all of that

Two words: Half-swording. Means u can block projectiles and parry really, REALLY easily. Also almost every enemy and boss has no armor on their back so just half-sword parry, reverse grip and stab em in the back. Makes hard mode a dream. This kinda stuff also works great in games like battle talent as well, which is a big step up in difficulty from behemoth.

I just went through this to try and level up, bc I couldn't beat the undead water seropaud. That thing kicked my a$$...

If you shake your hands lightning will appear if you’re in the courtyard clinch your hands while they’re facing you and you’ll get magic

Just don't worry about wasting your strength mode bc of the fast cooldown because by the time you'll need strength mode again it will come back

You can pick those up and disable them

People talk about it like it’s Not a buggy, janky mess.

Why are all the bosses like this. You can't actually beat them intentionally the way the game wants and instead have to resort to spamming them with a weapon. I tried this fight before the patch and could barely even scratch him cuz of the 0.1 second you have to dodge his instant kill shield.

You unlock that sword by defeating the second boss

unfortunately with the human bosses this is all i’ve been able to do to defeat them, rage mode then swing both hands around. they do so much damage both ranged and up close and i cannot block attacks i’ll hold up my sword and they will swing through and always deal damage to me, can’t enjoy the fight because you’ll die if it goes on for longer than a minute
