@@berrycrawford5579 it’s a tributary to the South fork of the American River above Oma 6 300 reservoir.
Nice fish man! Awesome channel too I’ll definitely subscribe

Thanks 👍 Super fun day out.
Cool to see the Moke up higher.
At 2500 there's a big hole in that first rapid. :D
Awesome! Is the take out on Middlefork at Hwy26?
@@user-ox6kf1gt6u it’s the north fork of the Mokelumne. But yes the take out is at highway 26

that was awesone Robin thank youuuu !!! Good times :)
It was an amazing trip! Thank you for leading us and watching out for us all
You need a bigger net bro. LOL
That is the bigger net🤣🤦🏻♂️
No hay otro rio como este en chile
Incredible
beat up but pretty fish indeed!
So much fun.
Good Lord, that looks so big and angry. Some of those whirlpools were quite spectacular to look at.
Sorry if I bother you but what you call Tobogán is just a transition between Entrada and Tobogan/Mas o mas...after that transition you can see an Isle, the rapid on the right is called Tobogan, the rapid on the left is mas o mas :-)
Thank you for the clarity. I basically was guessing there. I had the names just not their exact location and was a bit confused by the two names so now I know. Thanks for the info
@@robinclifton1719 U r welcome :-). I´m sure you enjoyed Futaleufu river and what you did is just a part of it, you have to come back to enjoy the rest or this powerfull river :-)
That looked like some big water. Swim looked short. Why were you paired up for a bit? Did you lose something on the other flip?
@@seanvarvel I didn’t but when I was under Ean through his paddle to give me a hand of god and then was without his paddle so we just hugged for a bit.🤣
I just got back from a Smith river trip. The south fork was running 3,000 cfs. We looked at the SF Gorge, that was a big " Oh, hell no"
Mega Landschaft und tolles Wildwasser. Würde mir auch gefallen. Grüße ronactive
Es war ein fantastischer Ort und wine tolle Reise. Danke für die en Kommentar.
That was awesome. Subscribed!!
Such an EPIC / ICONIC river!!! I’m just a rafter but if I only had one section of river to raft rest of my life = Inferno Canyon. Blessed to have run with BioBio n saw an EPIC rescue n Eddy off Zeta where Aniol was “stuck,”. Fuckin badass out!! Yikes
Wow amazing adventures, real power of the river
Nice lines! I was on the Futa with sbriverco at the beginning on February. Such an epic experience!
So juicy!
Hell yea !!! It’s interesting how surgy the Futa is at those high flows!
Fun ride I❤F
Unreal!
Big beautiful water down there!
Where is the Summer :D
Super epic. I prefer stay in the boat on that one!
Wow... just wow... beautiful water, beautiful scenery
Great edit Robin! I really enjoyed the audio clarity and the light background music…I can’t believe this was less than two weeks ago!!! What an ADVENTURE 🤙🏽
😍😍😍
Been there done that, got rolled before a 18 footer, rolled up, went over the falls backwards and praying, the swim was short, I still get a spike of adrenaline just thinking about it
Epic!
you're ok, that's what counts. 😊
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger... and smarter!😅
Epic swim
What was the temperature? You could have gotten into some serious shit, nice self rescue. Half point minus for missing the roll in the first place though 😊
It was spring so the air temp was warm, maybe 80’s and water temp was probably in the mid 50’s. Not at all bad for a drysuit. I had just chased down a runaway raft and was exhausted, I was planning on eddieing out there to rest when I found the seam. The roll was shit, all muscle no technique and panicked. Some how I thought I could swim before I entered the rapid but when I came out of my boat I was on top of a rock and the boat didn’t come off me right away so by the time I was out and orientated I was entering the rapid and was screwed. Good learning lesson though and I made it through without even a bruise. Just the ego and a long difficult scramble back to the bridge. And my boat ran the rest of the river without me🤦🏻♂️
@@robinclifton1719 Watching the video you got away cheap it was far nastier than I ever had (of course paddling in Soca Slovenia III-IV max)
I'd have done it a bit differently. In shallow water, on your back with your feet up, but as soon as I'm in deep water I'm on my stomach and using my paddle to swim aggressively to shore. Most people hold their paddle in one hand a side-stroke but you can use your paddle to swim faster than you can swim with just your hands.
You’re welcome to come and give it a try. I usually swim with my paddle when I can see an exit. This particular case the safest place was actually in the deep water in the middle and not near the rocks next to shore on both sides. I would have swam with my paddle at the end but it was ripped out of my hand on the last drop and rather than breaking it I let it go. It’s always easier to see and say what to do when you aren’t in the water and the GoPro always makes everything look much more chill than it really is. But I’d be happy to film you showing me how it’s done
Nice one!!! @@robinclifton1719
Two thumbs up! I thought ya did good, you just forgot your boat. memories to last a lifetime, that's what its all about when you get old and look back.
My first class V solo body kayak decent
I love mine :) Hope it carries you well.
I've been doing to much swimming lately. Back to the pool
Is that icicle in Leavenworth? Nevermind looked like it for a few minutes, what river
It’s the South Fork of the American River above Chili Bar. Called Slab Creek, in California.
Killer dude!!! So glad you could be here to talk about this.
