I'm obviously a little late to the party. Mileo was unlucky with the timing, as there were several partner murders in Norway shortly before the competition. That probably led to many choosing to vote for someone else this time. I liked the song, but since I'm Norwegian I understand why he didn't make it further. I also like Gothminister, but my absolute favorite was Gåte. Now we know the bottom line - they made it to the final, but that was it. We were probably open to the fact that anything could happen with such a special song, in a genre that is foreign to most viewers of Eurovision. They got a lot of good reactions on TH-cam before the final, and I think many people were surprised that they didn't do better. In any case, we are proud of them here in Norway, and our thing with Eurovision seems to be that we send artists who would otherwise never reach out of Norway. We give them the chance to be discovered by a larger audience than we can give them here at home, and most of our participants manage to do just that - they are discovered by people who would otherwise never discover them. Gåte has gained many new fans in Europe, and can finally tour outside Norway. And btw - you did great with the pronunciation.
