I’ve been scouring this site for a well done version of this song for a teen cabaret I’m scheduled to direct and almost all have fallen flat with acting/too many vocal tricks. Yours is, without a doubt, the most well acted version of this song I have found on this ENTIRE site (and I’ve been looking for 45 minutes 😅). Of course you sound great, but you already knew that if you chose this song. You acted the hell out of this song, and I plan to use this as a reference for my performer in terms of authentic and natural storytelling (while still getting those money notes in). Brava, and I hope you’re still performing because this was phenomenal.
