What are the updates coming for software ? Any videos?
Stay tuned as we roll out videos showcasing what's coming in V14 over the next couple of months!
Will US Mozaik customers have access to the advanced Cadmate library?
Yes! Everyone can download the Cadmate library here: cadmate.com.au/cadmate-library/
Awesome!
Im trying to connect to mozaik support since yesterday. Can you get someone to assist us before Christmas holidays? We have been logged out.
Thank you for letting us know about your UserID change-we appreciate you keeping us informed. I wanted to let you know that the code team has issued new codes, so you should be all set. If you’re still having trouble accessing the software, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us via email or by calling the office. We’re here to help! Also, your experience highlights one of the key areas we’re focusing on as part of this transition, so thank you for sharing your feedback. Best regards, Dave
Thanks for the video guys. How do we get i.e lap joint and blum inwards door into the insert library?
We freely share all the latest inserts that we create in our library installer. Please visit cadmate.com.au/cadmate-library/
Thank you for all the info, it’s always great to learn more from you! I had a question, we have a homag drillteq D510 drill and doweling machine, Is mozaik now capable of making gcodes for our machine? I saw you had a vertical cnc as your secondary machine.
Thanks for the feedback! Great to know our content is helpful. Yes, Mozaik Enterprise can generate individual part .MPR files for your Homag Drillteq machine 🙌
Excellent video. Love the new additions. Quick question...At around 10min of the video timeline, you show an option for a "part origin symbol". Does this option need to be activated or is it on by default? It doest appear on my label by default and I cant seem to find the option to activate it. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Are you running the Enterprise version of Mozaik? The part origin symbol is an enterprise feature. In the label designer, you'll find it under "Drawings"
So much good stuff in this one! Thanks again for putting these feature requests forward guys!
Our pleasure! Thanks for the feedback!
Great video Dave!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I like the lap joint!! how do I create that joint?
Download the Cadmate library: cadmate.com.au/cadmate-library/
hey Dave, can you change the texture of maybe 1 x bottom of an open unit?
Yes, you sure can, changing the texture of a any part was added as a new feature in 13.1
We need an update on how to change color , on wall elevation filling cabinets like green,Blue or any other colors , some programs like prokitchen software allows you to have different color templates
Thanks for the feedback! We are hoping to see this coming soon in the next major release!
hello, I'm interested in whether Mozaik has the option of installing LED lighting and their display? Thanks in advance.
You can readily incorporate routes or grooves for LED lighting in your designs. If you're looking to visualize the lighting effect, you can currently add the model of the light itself. However, simulating the actual light emission from the model isn't possible at the moment. Mozaik is actively working on integrating a rendering engine, which will include the capability to display lighting effects as part of this new functionality
@@cadmate yes, that interested me. Maybe I expressed myself badly. Thanks for the prompt reply
With Cutout by Material, what do you do for HMR if using a roughing tool as well and don’t want that tool to be used for mdf? Do I still need to make 2 toolsets?
Yes, at the moment this would require multiple toolsets. Great suggestions to expand the new functionality to roughing tools as well.
where can i find the video on cutter direction mentioned in this video?
th-cam.com/video/PEV2L42hXzk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=BHCxEarygS5E6CSW
I'd be amazed to see a warning pop up when two items overlap or a product is negatively placed into a wall. Instead of just allowing it to happen.
Thank you for your feedback! We appreciate your suggestion. While we understand the potential benefits of warnings for overlapping items or negative placement, many of our customers enjoy the freedom to overlap and specifically place items inside one another. Implementing pop-ups for these scenarios could potentially disrupt the experience for the majority of our user base. However, we are continually looking for ways to improve our user experience and will take your feedback into consideration for future updates. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us!
Well presented! V13 has some pretty exciting features!
Thanks for the feedback! It sure does!
You say driving. Like im physically moving my machines axes using buttons on my keyboard using Mozaik.
Mozaik writes the GCode that drives the CNC
great presentation!!
Glad you liked it!
Rock Star 💪🏽
Thanks Roberto!
Wondering if flute number matters for the 5% rule?
Super helpful and interesting that opposite ideas can benefit from each other! Glad this will be available soon! Thanks Dave.
Fantastic video Dave. Since we changed our cutting techniques based on your advice from the cnc guide book, we have got our tool deflection down to almost nothing based. Upgraded the collets and toolholder, and sped up the entry feed, plus change the cutting direction. This took hours of testing and on multiple materials. The update to Mozaik for the change of direction combined with the "stay down" option should make the cuts flawless. We can't wait for it to be released! BTW, loved the "why not both" meme 😅
Hi!! any chance we can see what your settings are ? I have issues with plywood 😒
Dave, are there any video for your Q & A that show you how to make 2pc Mdf doors. 3/4 for the frame and 1/2 for the center?
great video!!!
Nice video, could you please let me know if Can I prepare an internal door model in this program?
Hi I'm a cabinet maker and I currently build and design everything by hand. I just bought a cnc and I got mozaik with it. I'm wondering is mozaik enough? Do I need sketch up at all? I tried to do some research but couldn't find anything. When to use sketchup vs moziak/pros and cons. Thanks for any answers.
Thats nice.
Thanks Cadmate! Excellent and helpful video once again!
Really excited to see great improvements on basic functionality in the right direction. Especially excited about the cloud based hardware data i think this will could be huge for inserts. Looking forward where v13 will take us. Have great Christmas!
So I have a question for you. I had a bunch of pieces to cut out about 300. Instead of starting in the one corner/0 and cutting it off going down the line it jumps around. So it just ruins pieces because when it gets down to having next to nothing, it just wrecks about six or seven of them. I had to make my own program using wood whop. That way it went in order. Is that something that’s auto computer generated to jump around during to board yield or is there a setting?
HI I NEED TO CHANGE MY DEVICE
Please get in touch with help@mozaiksoftware.com for assistance with this
Hi, im a newbie mozaik user. May I ask how to turn door pull from vertical to horizontal?
is there an additional setting somewhere to have machining transfer onto the adjacent panel when end type is set to nothing? You show this at 4:30 but it doesn't function this way for me. When I follow along and change ends to "nothing" my drawer operations do not transfer to the tall panel. I'm on version 12.2.5
It may depend on the product that you have adjacent to the product. Make sure the adjoining product has a part enabled on that edge. It is easier to email your job to the helpdesk so the team can review your specific scenario.
When making an oven tower this way, would it be possible to have all the cabinet parts come out as 1 cabinet Number rather than 3 or 4 separate cabinet numbers?
You would need to build the product as one cabinet to only have one cabinet number. There are pros and cons of each approach
Hi is this an official Mozaik training session?
This is an official Mozaik training session hosted by Cadmate, who represents Mozaik in Australia and New Zealand.
Hi, would it be possible to make a draw in Skatchup and import in to Mozaik to generate a G-CODE from there to my CNC? A customer wants a negative of back of his guitar to be added to his closet. Many thanks in advance.
You can import DXFs into Mozaik. Please refer to this help guide on the process: help.cadmate.com.au/faqs/how-to-import-dxf-files-into-mozaik?from_search=129579295
Are there going to be any more of these free monthly group training sessions? I'd like to register but I can't find where to do it

Great Session David, wondering with the fridge size is there a way I can get rid of the fridge size without deleting all the sizes at once, the reason being usually when we draw we have a standard fridge space and we do not want to show the client once we place the fridge in the gap sizes Is there a way to turn off the fridge dimensions?
Yes, this is possible. You can change the Product Type to "Other" and then uncheck the "Auto-Dimension" option on the Info Tab. You're welcome to attend the free group training next month and ask this question. us06web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZwtfuqvqD4sHdUC3x2gZTU0E8p0VpYFqSWh
I would just like to thank you guys for taking the time to educate your users easier, Ive been a Moziak user for a few years now and have felt that Ive been just left to my own figuring out this awesome tool (mostly because Im not the type to get ahold of the help desk). Keep up the good work

I am new to Mozaik and could use some coaching. I saw that you have a mastery core for sale on your website. before I drop that kind of money I would like to know if you have any videos pertaining to FACEFRAME construction. Most of what I see available is talking frameless. While I prefer frameless my new employer insists on staying with faceframe cabinets. What I am really intested in regard custom products with multiple opening and how to make those parametric. For example a Base may have a sink opening next to a drawer bank with the other side maybe a drawer with trash pullout below. Thanks in advance for your attention.
Hi Steve, we are currently working on adding a Faceframe chapter to the Mozaik Master training course. Would you be able to email help@cadmate.com.au with some visual examples of the lessons/topics you would like covered?
Is there anyway to adjust where the cabinet label shows on the elevation view?
Yes. You can right-click on the label, select label - move label. Then drag the label to where you would like it.
Adjustable Shelves = Dashed lines
Yes, Mozaik shows the Adjustable Shelves as Dashed lines and Fixed Shelves as Solid lines. This feature is to help make it clearer to people outside of the industry which shelves are adjustable and which ones are fixed.
How you add locks to cabinet?
In V11 & V12 Mozaik has an option for locks built in!
@@daveleecarr I can see the locks but I do not see them when I optimize to be cut
@@jingojingo1 check if your door style has bore for locks enabled in the door library
@@daveleecarr I have a question if we have one project with multiple rooms can we set labels for each rooms name, or will it be based on whole project name?
