Thanks for the video. 👍 It saved me from making the mistake
Thank you for the quick and high quality video.
my rollers have a threaded end and a nut screwed onto the end, perhaps its hurricane rated? also my rollers are 9 inches long with 2 brackets on the end, not just one. hard to find rollers with threaded ends and wondering if i can just use ones with no threads? it doesnt seem like rollers are secured other than the roller just being in the track, which holds them from moving left to right, so not sure why mine have a threaded end. plus mu nuts on the end of roller arent tightened, they are just barely threaded on . thanks
This worked perfectly. Watched a different video first. Disaster. He kept referring to the * button, but close inspection showed he was pushing #. Other issues too. This one…perfect!
Gracias, me ayudo su video 👍
Can I use the solid rail and chain on the store brand chamberlin or craftsman?
It was the color thing for me, thanks a million
Muchas gracias me ayudó de mucho ,!!!
Can I use an 8' strut on a 9' door ? Thanks
Why not loosen the top of the bottom track just as you did the bottom of the top one?
Not bending the rail… it seems Mickey Mouse and I’m not sure the future new buyers would like it. Great video tho
Short and to the point. Thanks for saving me $250. Just also replaced the middle set of hinges with the "Green Hinges", and the door works like a charm with the new set of rollers!
Great video! Very informative! 😁🙏
11 or 13 ball bearings? That's an a lot of bearings on a shaft. I believe you mean there are 11 & 13 balls in-between the raceways, yes? The ball bearing is a size 6200 most likely.
Yeah but what about measuring for proper wheel size? I don't wanna order a 2" roller (typical size) when I need a smaller one. Track has an opening exactly 2". My current rollers are 1 1/2" & they pinball all-lall-all around inside the track. Do I buy a 2" or a 1 3/4" roller?
No Se le entiende cuando habla
Mine didn't work.
This DIY video and ones like it are the crown jewel of TH-cam. Thanks for the helpful tutorial.
Thnx! The instruction sheet in the box confused the heck out of me...I did it within 60 seconds with your video!
You are great!!!
I tried pressing the star and pound on mine, but it doesn't blink, what do I do?
Six years later still paying dividends, thank you for your help, got my rollers replaced no stress
Thanks
Is it possible to program this to work with a non-liftmaster gate? Can I not use one of the other buttons for a different product?
Dios le bendiga señor ví tu video tenía yo un problema con un sensor del la cochera aplique el método que usted muestra en el video y problema resuelto gracias qué Dios le bendiga grandemente donde quiera que ande
So what did you do with that cable? Removed it?
Straight forward instructions that worked like a charm. And doing it myself saved me about $120 compared to a quote I received to do the same. Thank you!
But what size roller do I buy?? You don't say how to measure old roller in order to buy new rollers!!
I would never let this man change my rollers.
He told me to tell you he wouldn’t do it anyway….
Why?
Thank you!
Plus if you look in the top right of the screen you can see the cables are disengaged
True he did not mention that you have to dis-engage the spring system. Also wooden doors will be too heavy and you'll need a counter balance.
So what do you do when you move into a house that already has one of these and you have no instructions to know the correct code for your model?
Great tip for replacing the bottom rollers. For those that don’t realize the cable a simple job can easily turn into a nightmare. Thumbs up 100% thanks.
What button? The alarm button?
This item is not available
where is the roller with the insulated axle?
Great tip on that bottom roller ..Thanks
Thanks for this, simple and straight to the point for a DIY.
Has the learn button ever been black or did my color button fall off? The system is very old at least between 10-15 years light is yellow though.
Same problem I’m having mines yellow also no other color option.
Exactly what I needed! Thank you.
Thank you for this!! I initially missed the step where you have to push another button to get out of program mode (it ended up making my remote not function correctly). Your video was straight to the point and explained very well!
My door switch to open the garage door for my Security+ 2.0 Liftmaster has a learn button on it... same thing as the button on the opener itself?
Thank you so much for making this video it helped me out so much that I had to tell you myself, thank you
Second "0" after programming, thanks.
Worked like a charm. it took 5 minutes.
Donde está la Empresa
Ok for my overhead garage co model 696cd/b the magic number was 6
Awesome video! Direct and to the point I followed your directions and was finished in less than and hour saving me a few hundred dollars I'm sure! Than you Sir!
Worked like a charm for me. Very quick and easy to do. I don’t see where it did any harm to the rails. Thanks
Hello thank you for this video. Just curious is it necessary to lubricate the rollers with grease or any other type of lubricant after they've been replaced? Thank you!
