This and the battle against Evrae took me foreverrr
Im replaying through this and I'm just stuck at this boss lol
I wish this game had new game plus once you beat it but other then that I love this game ❤
I love Seymour but …. FUCK THIS DUDE and FUCK THIS FIGHT!!!! ❤😂
This game is so good.. if they made it with 16 graphics and cut scenes id spend 200 on it.. keep the turn base
Best boss fight this year
going to be honest, I loved this game when it came out and played it over and over again, but looking back on it the dialogue wasn't the best " what are we going to do?" " idk I'll think of something" " wow you sound just like a leader!" 😅
I still have my PS2 memory card with the game genie cheat to use Seymour as a playable character 😂
Well in that case, Yuna shouldn't refuse marrying to Seymour
This was one difficult battle.
U mfer are using the remastered soundtrack. You must be deaf, dumb and gay if you use that garbage
I beat him in one hit…
Adam Driver would be a good casting for Seymour.
Come on dude, the aeon overdrive back to back? The fight isn't THAT difficult. Fight him for real!!!
it is his game, he can play however he likes
I defeated him easily, didn´t even have to use any summon
Kimari was a shid after first few Boss battles, wordt ff character ever
Fuck this intro. The fight was annoying without a strategy guide but the real crime was not being able to skip the damn cutscene.
WHAT IS AN ABE?! Ugh, the name just makes me squirm
In hindsight, he clearly already knew what the final summon entailed. I just didnt recall this conversation back then.
Literally the hardest fight in the game, harder than the damn final boss 😂😂😂😂
Yup the Aeon overdrive spam basically the easiest way to cheese the whole game. I usually save Bahamut for last to ensure the overkill since this is one of the few lv 4 key sphere drop bosses
I don't know what's worse.. suffering from difficult bosses or grinding purely out of an internalized sense of precaution.
Ggs
their decision to give Seymour a "fuck off summon" skill was so mean bruh 💀
This boss caused my first real rage quit in my 34 years of gaming.
I played this part so many times I've memorized this speech down to character interactions. Ugh I love this game!!!
Bro he looks like a guy version of Ultimacia from FF8
I can believe it was intentional as Kihmari also looks like an FF8 character, Griever
Well Seymour, I made it. Despite your difficult boss fight
13-14 year old me was SO invested into playing the entire game with summons, I had no idea I was literally depriving my characters from exp and growth with the exception of Yuna. I didn't know about the secret weapons, either, or how to get them. So by the time I got to this point in the game, it was literally impossible for me to win. Obviously now that I'm older I can see that all I really had to do was go back to some areas and train a little for my guys that were severely underleveled. Also, you can poison Seymour for that sweet sweet EIGHT THOUSAND free damage per tick, another trick I wasn't aware of until later.
there's another trick this video misses - seymour casts reflect on himself, then reflects a flare spell off of himself on his next turn. if you dispel the reflect, he still casts flare on himself.
@@barneymcwhat6241 lmfao omg that's hilarious.
@@SeraphimDragon it's not even an accident - there's one of those purple-boxed messages saying something like "spell counter failed" that pops up above him when he does it. it's like the designers knew what a dick he is and added as much as possible to help us get through it ^_^
I only opened this video because the first time I did this fight I died so many times and had to level up a little.
Seymour Flux more like Seymour fucks you in the ass fuck this fight
I still don't know how i was able to beat him first try
The music is different from the OG, but still good.
Let Yuna use every aeon with special atack and hes toast.
Mago tem inteligencia para ser sabio e Vigor para ter ap e usar magia
Sounds like winnie the pooh haha
Seymour: *the entire fight* huh! huh!
Let's be honest: Everybody watched this Cutscene probaly way more often then any other in FF10 the first time he played this Game.😂
for real! he was a hell of a difficulty spike for younger me not really ever grinding for levels
this one and the one right before Yunalesca
@@joanna7779 Yunalesca was hard. But this was ridiculous. Pretty much nobody was grinding the Group. Zanarkand was so near that we all wanted to see it and what will happens to Yuna. And then this Guy stoped us for Days or even Weeks. I read some even gave up and never finished 10 on that Point.
This was my first Final Fantasy game I ever played when I was a kid and I was renting it from the video store, this boss caused me so much grief I will never forget it 😂
"ee ee oo aah not Clayton"
GG!
Thank you so much!
i dont remember kimahri sounding like that for some reason
Good on you to give Kamahri the last shot
Hardest ff main story bossfight imho
Probably Yunalesca
But this fight is sentimental for me as well because as a kid I could never get past this fight but it was only years and years and years later during lockdown where I bought the remaster and finally completed this game beating this boss - finally beating this game I had so much nostalgia for. But I think realistically speaking Yunalesca is probably a bit tougher.
This or Barthandelus from FF13 in Oerba. This where Nightmares the first Time.💀😂
It was a huge difficulty spike out of nowhere
This fight was so hard the first time with no strategy guide.
Honestly bro, this is how i love playing games!! After i beat the game, then thats when i look up guides and such!! I just stay original to back in the day gaming of me being a liner with no Internet access lol i play them like this to this day!
Strategy guide = cheat sheet
Amen to that one
Think I died about 3 times before getting through
@@EE-iy9rq I don't remember much about my boss fights, but I loved the music, and the gems were a pain. Overall, I loved the gameplay.
Ggs
This boss was a pain in the og FFX. Not only did I not know what Zombie was or how to cure it but with how few spheres you get, I couldn't level up my party or learn new skills.
the distil abilities are learned pretty early, you can get as many spheres as you care to acquire (i usually stock up in kilika forest to prepare for ochu)
@@barneymcwhat6241 where they in the og ffx released in the USA?
yes, as both active abilities and weapon abilities
Interesting that Banish was an ability exclusive to this one boss fight so as to prevent cheesing his ultimate ability by sacing an aeon in your partys place. Imagine if all bosses did that throughout the story. Im sure some of the more casual players would not have been happy 🤣
Yeah... they totally wouldn't have been happy. Not at all... *clenches fists from the trauma* This fight made me rage quit the entire game cause the idea of going back to train never crossed my younger self's mind. You learn so much about things as you get older that you sit there and wonder in retrospect; "how did I *ever* struggle with this when I was younger?"
This wasn't the only Seymour fight where he banishes aeons. He did the same in his second boss fight too. At least, if I recall from my playthrough of the original.
The aeon can still get off an overdrive though. Just max all the aeons overdrive before you go into the fight then use each aeon + overdrive attack = easy win
Ggs
🤣🤣🤣
Ggs, finally got to see that boss 😆
Awesome 👌
