Ethereal shoegaze soundscapes, soaring melodies and hard hitting riffs border on the landscape of math rock to form Menaura’s sound. Breaking out from the London alternative scene, this band has been pushing the limits for amounts of reverb in iconic venues such as The Dublin Castle, O2 Academy Islington and The Windmill Brixton to name a few. Lyrics speak of a desire to escape, finding meaning in life and getting lost in the labyrinths of modern misinformation.

The band consists of Douglas Runebjörk (guitar & vocals), Diana Opiela (vocals & synths), Elio Prota (guitar), James Rampton (drums) and Kristin Hille-Krumsvik (bass).

Fans of Slowdive, Alcest and Black Country, New Road will find familiarity here. Menaura is currently working on their debut album.
