That’s exactly how I cut mine today! Hahaha first time I cut any of my tools cords in 14years
Single storey house eh. Looking for some foundations for a three or four storey.
On Pearson vue I see 2018 test available. I cannot find 2021 test available. Can you please help
Hi , the link you mentioned under practice test in description box doesn’t have the 2021 bundle . Please suggest where can I find the 2021 prep bundle from the contractor training website. thanks
Michigan is closed book
I am allowed to pull the permit - interestingly, the county requires the home must declare no licensed gc completed the work for the first two years after completion. We plan on living here for at least 10 years- it goes on to say I would have to use an attorney to remove that distinction- so, wondering if I should go through and get a builder's license. I've acted as GC on two major projects (improvements over 200k) from framing to completion- so have pulled permits and passed all inspections on first go-
Looking to buy a home, thanks for showing us what to look out for!
If you get a contractor to get another contractor yoga paying to contractors when in fact you could hire a subcontractor yourself if the contractor you hire has blueprints to look at.
If you get a contractor to get a architect you're losing money
You're making it complicated when a home owner can just go and get an architect design everything and then you have your blueprints and then you can hire any contractor you want the one with the best bid. Or I guess I could pay the contractor to have a conversation with a plumber that has the plans that can say how much you going to charge this person and then just add a little bit for me for my time to talk to the plumber.
And then when you have the blueprints you can get bids from subcontractors that will come and bid on the blueprints
I thought step one would be to hire an architect and get the design and then take that blueprint to the city to have it stamped and approved
How! Just follow the example of your Politicians, especially the Republicans and your Industrialists. LIE! CHEAT! FALSIFY DOCUMENTS! GIVE/TAKE BRIBES! Easy when you have contempt for the American Constitution!
Part 2?
0:18 0:18 0:18 Just wondering why you don't go ahead to 16¾ and draw a line and the put your X to the left side...
what is the white poofy looking stuff before the studs?
Good info. That intro noise is awful though.
Gawd awful music!
Awesome video. Thank you so much.
Have you ever tried Form-a-Drain. You would make a great user of the product! Nice quick videos! Sub.
Where did you get the magnets and clamps to make your guide rail?
Hi can I ask a question??
I'm getting the general contractor license and a plumbing license
Did yall weld them together like continuous weld all the way down or use caulking or some other method?
Great info thank you
I was interested in your product but couldnt stand the noise/music so I went elsewhere...
Same here
you can always scroll ahead
Ugh …. I’ll probably need one for a home kit…. Especially since I have zero experience
The background noise from the excavator was so annoying - couldn’t hear half of what you were saying.
You didn’t mention your soil test or site work and things like that in the very beginning if you’re building a new residential home.
How is the Sta-Kool doing after a year? I'd like to coat my RV with it.
I love this. I always regretted not getting into the trades. I’m contemplating starting a side remodeling business to get mor “formal” experience
No professional home building contractor

Hilarious cut at 1:46 😂 Great information!
Thank you, this video helped me so much.
GREAT VIDEO...
What does a system like this cost to install?
Specific question here - Any advice on Homeowner hiring a GC to build an addition as a shell? I have friends and family in trades (plumbers, electricians, etc) and I personally know how to run wire, lay tile, hang drywall, finish trim... I want to hire a GC to handle building the structure to weather (foundation, framing, siding, windows, roof) so I can handle all the inside work. It's kind of a hybrid situation because I don't necessarily want to manage the entire project, but I have to pull the permits otherwise I can't touch it at all. I have been in contact with my town's Building Commissioner and I am approved to do it all, but I could use some guidance.
So you should pretty much already know everything before you even think of taking this test is what I got
would the general residential contractor class c be the correct certification for residential excavation company? I'm finding that to be the ICC G13?
Do you have to show proof of tax filed in the last few years?
To become a building contractor, do you need any sort of education or experience. Or you just need to pass the exam and get a license for it?
Yes you will need to show experience in order to obtain a license. Passing the exam does not give you a license. You have to take your ICC exam cert in order to apply for a license. My question to you. How do you pass an ICC exam with no experience in the field you are testing for?
To become a building contractor, does it require any sort of education or experience. Or you just need to pass the exam and get licensed?
Hi, is this exam valid for ontario, Canada ?
ICC would be for both, but testing requirements could be different in Canada
You can leave three or four tabs (2-3” long) along the bottom while cutting so the panel can fold out and down and not injure anyone. Then just cut the tabs with a reciprocating saw.
“I’d rather be lucky than good.”
no thanks LOL
Some of the pre test questions say to reference the concrete manual, you don't mention this book. Should we get it, trying in texas
Understand foundations and flat work, and that is also in the ICC book
