HGTV House Hunters- First Timers in Bakersfield
That women is a just a bitty
DEMANDING. PEOPLE.
Not very realistic ideas on a budget! If I can’t have cream color kitchen cabinets that’s a deal breaker😢
These two are so out of touch
That 3rd house was hideous !
Why can't kids share a bedroom.. They want a lot for a little bit of money Move on..
Bakersfield is not cheap. My mom, sister and her family bought a 4 bdrm, 2 bath at 318,000. That was almost 4 years ago. No pool, good sized yard. 2 car garage. These fokks not living in the real world. Too picky
7500 for them to build a pool yeah right Mr. realtor more like 75,000 for a teeny pool more realistically 4 a normal size pool. More like 175 Unless they do a nice above ground and that’s fine
Well, I liked this couple. I dont know why so many harsh comments about their unrealistic expectations.Who doesnt want maximum things for their limited budget?. I say congrats to them for working hard, saving up, and finally going after their dream home. They'll do so much better in the long run by owning, not renting.
Hate to burst anyone's bubble but This is the place where Satan himself resides. Anyone who lives in this God forsaken place.needs to know how to pray over kids and house.I won't go into details but take it from someone who knows. Get the hell outta tweekervill, it may cost you your sanity, that's just the beginning
They're in the wrong state or town with those wishes, but w/ that budget. They seem out of touch w/ the economy.
So annoying lol
20:48 NUMBER THREE NUMBER THREE
Omg I live in Silicon Valley...tear downs are2.5 mil.
In the snap of your fingers those children will be gone , sharing is a important lesson of life
He needs to grow a spine, grow up & get a real job. Sounds like she is the bread winner of the family. These two were hard to watch.
Many of those items on their wish list were luxuries NOT necessities🥴 “That pool was exactly what we were looking for”… heck, I thought they were looking for a house😂Agent had the patience of a Saint❤️
We used to have 7 people with one bathroom and it only had one shower, my Mom used a wringer washer and clothes line, 3 bedrooms etc I guess it made us closer as a family (1960’s in Valley of the Hearts delight - now sadly known as Silicon Valley..)
A ny house better than renting. Get with it
Lol 7:13 😅 She asks about the countertop and says she loved something but didn't know that was Marbled. 😅😅😅😅😅
Here we go 😮 0:40
Good choice for them. But the comment section on HGTV is turning into nothing but trolling the homebuyers, it seems.
Brutal but honest😂😂😂never read Comments to this degree
Most people in Europe grow up with 1 bathroom and a WC. It's not a disaster! It's about compromise and planning
🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄poor realtor
She obviously got willed some money and thinks it’s like a million dollars ….in California you are lucky to get a shack with that budget yet they want it all….. they need like triple that budget
Daym if i had to listen to her slow talking annoying azz voice...👧🔫
You. Like. But. You. Cant. Please. So. Live. Outside. Plenty. Light
NO ONE NEEDS A POOL!
I’m a 2-hour drive from there on the West Coast and my Pool is the Ocean😂😂😂But, seriously during the Summer it can get in the Triple digit temps and I would need the Pool, otherwise I would live in the Coast.
What year was this filmed? Must be at least 20 years ago for those prices.....
This couple just has such a whiny and entitled attitude! If you want the money to have everything don't have four children or get better jobs.
Do they know what their electric bill will be if they put in pool? Probably half their mortgage payment.
It appears thst this coupke don,t understsnd they can,t afford the house they want.☹️☹️
This couple r dreaming
This couple r dreaming
This couple r dreaming
Omg .
I remember the days when houses were actually "affordable"!!! Lol
That budget will not get you a lot. Go to a public pool you’re not going to get everything you want. I would’ve dropped them as clients.
2024 those house are probably going for more than a million today.
Great to see a family from my hometown;( I now live in Utah), find the perfect home!
These two were insufferable. I feel sorry for that RE agent.
As several people have pointed out, at least two of these 'kids' look to be close to grown (the one boy had a beard) and therefor pretty close to moving out. If you've managed to raise your kids in a smaller space/less bathrooms, there's no reason to look for a big house when it's time for them to leave home. As parents we can forget that the kids grow up and leave. And there's nothing wrong with kids sharing a room. I shared a room growing up. It was no hardship. And we all shared 1 bathroom. As to the pool, I understand the allure. But I had a pool when I was a teenager. The first year we used it all the time. The second year we used it a lot. By the third year we rarely used it and by the fourth year we fought constantly as to whose time it was to clean the damn thing out. Pools are a lot of worry/work and always seem like they're so much fun until you have one and you realize that they're really so much work and upkeep.
Why is everyone freaking out about the amount of bedrooms?! If they wanted; they could always make two of the smaller rooms combined down the road. One could definitely be used as a guest room if older kids move away but come for holidays.
Pools are also expensive.
Definitely, well before COVID. $280,000??? Multiply that by two in 2024. $7,500 for a pool? Are you kidding me. Maybe an above ground pool.
Look at the date this was uploaded, hon lol
Awesome realtor. ❤
Good choice. She doesn’t let her husband talk.
What world do they live in...5 bedrooms AND a pool for their budget in CALIFORNIA....
These people want to live above their means. I wonder how they really treat people around them?
I like their choice! Congrats!
Baker field .summer time temperatures 130degree😂
ok, timing might be right but when you don't have over $400 grand how do you expect to have a pool, 2 to 3 bathrooms , office and 5 bedrooms?. seriously? there is a reason you are renting. I would definitely make a poor agent. I would tell them "go back home and save some money" or let something go or maybe you shouldn't have had so many kids. yep, I would not last long.looks like one of the boys should be leaving pretty soon.
I totally agree. These two are so annoying.
