This review seems a little half hearted but I’ve been to Mario’s several times and would really recommend it. I think the yucca and the green beans are the best sides and the chicken is fantastic!

I bought some fried bream from there not long ago 👌🏾so good.

Not downtown but on John's Island is The Wild Olive which is fantastic Italian food.

Our go too's are Halls Chop House. Fig, SNOB, High Cotton, Grill 225, and Poogans Porch for brunch. Tattooed Moose Mt Pleasant We love Chucktown. We are about 1 1/2 hours north and are there at least once a month staying at the Charleston Place.

The best restaurant in Charleston. Great food and an amazing staff

This is an incredibly helpful video, thank you so much for making it. My wife and I were there just a couple of weeks ago so I thought I'd add some updates/details: - After going through the small tunnel to get to the bus terminal, the ticket office is to your left. You can just catch a glimpse of it at the 2:48 mark of this video. It looks more like a shed than a ticket office, but just go open that storm door and someone will be there to help you. - On our trip they did *not* announce the stops on the bus. I just followed along on Google Maps. Just look for the Amsterdam Manor building as shown in the video. It's easy to spot. - You will walk on the beach and go (very) slightly left as the video correctly advises. While those chairs/umbrellas are actually part of Amsterdam Manor, that only means guests can use them for free rather than pay the $30. They are all still first come, first served. We arrived around 8:30am and were able to get a front row umbrella, but they will go quickly! - The day we were there they were short-staffed so they didn't have beach waiters, but the bar is right there and they have seating for dining. - They no longer accept cash, everything is card only. - Each umbrella has an outlet, but there are no USB ports so just make sure you bring a brick to charge your phone. We had a great day, we highly recommend!

My children brought me here to celebrate Mothers Day, and what a delightful experience it was! The atmosphere was so pleasing and the entire restaurant was beautiful! I felt like I was in the Orient! And the food was so delicious and plentiful. I had to take half home to enjoy later!

My wife and I went there on Saturday afternoon. We're originally from Boston and miss quality Chinese Food dining. We were so happy to find Dragon Palace. The food was terrific. We also loved the decor and the service. It's not the ordinary usual lineup of appetizers and dishes. The menu is imaginative and well prepared and presented. We have finally found our go to Chinese sit down restaurant in Charleston!

how is the WIFI connection?

We ate there on 4/7/24 , had brisket, mac an cheese, chicken fried steak, pickles, onions and corn pudding. Everything was delicious. Definitely want to go on a Saturday for the beef ribs.

did i miss the part where you said to buy the tickets? yo can buy a ticket on the bus? or need to go to the terminal to buy a ticket?

Can I bring my own drinks and food to the beach?

We love Acme Lowcountry Kitchen and eat several meals there each year, for breakfast and supper, when we are visiting IOP.

Love the beers out of this place, never been to Charleston but i need to plan a visit. And by the way the mojo sauce is Spanish so the J is pronounced like an H, mojo= mo-ho!

Can I suggest a change to your camera work? The constant up/down motion gets to be difficult to watch (for me, anyway). A better way would be to scan across the food, then scan back across the names. Your viewers can figure out which is which. Otherwise, you are getting me quite ready for 13 days on Celebrity Apex!!

As an Indian person who grew up on Indian food I was surprised you never ate at an Indian restaurant but I’m happy you enjoyed it. Although even I have never seen a place with 13 different types of naan! Tandoori is always my go to at restaurants. It’s so hard to make well at home (not having a tandoor kind of doesn’t help lol). The portion sizes seem good. Most Indian restaurants always tend to give enough food to take home.
