Wow been following your 'updates' for a very long time! Looks like you now have an aircraft on your hands. What an amazing amazing job you guys have done! God knows how satisfied you'll be to get it back where it belongs. Just hope you don't have to install those dreadful LED nav lights and anti-colls.

Just make sure you get decent engines that don’t drop valves due to fatigue of the stem welds onto the sodium filled valve heads.

She is a credit to your vision, I hope to see her flying in the new year.

A really impressive task! Thank you so much for doing it for future generations. Pity there is not such a project close to me where I could help even if it is just sweeping the floor. So glad to see you're down to the last lap of the race which ends with you taking part in the 80th anniversary of the D-Day. Invasion. Reliving that pivital moment of WWII and insuring memory of that date is kept alive, so generations still to come can see it as well..

I saw "Columbine" sitting lonely on the ramp in Santa Fe, New Mexico many years ago. So nice to see this magnificent aircraft in the air once again.

My Grandparents were stationed at Lowry AFB in Denver, and saw "Columbine" and President Eisenhower come and go when he visited the "Western Whitehouse." The significance of that airplane is Far more than people seem to realize. It deserves nothing but the very best, and I hope she not only returns to the Sky, but is able to represent and tell the stories for Years to Come. An Iconic Aircraft, An Incredible Man, Both in long service to our beloved United States.

I’ve known George for 6 years now. I’ve been to Normandy, Holland, Belgium and Germany with him. He’s one of my favorite humans. His personality, kindness and jokes are the best. I actually just FaceTimed with him! He’s back in Normandy this week!

i met Lindsey and all the Flight Crews in their stop in Waterbury CT! super friendly and all professionals. i was the kid who dragged his parents with him from NJ! lol. We watched you all fly down the Hudson past NYC. then we drove up and saw the aircraft in person!! So cool!! I'll never forget that day

C-47 NOT SEXY? Who could possibly THINK such a thing? The C-47 is a magnificent beast, a thing of true beauty and sublime elegance. And that sound ... melts your heart!

Super interested in this mission. Does anyone have any idea of the specifics on oceanic flight planning for those legs on the Blue Spruce Route. I'm fascinated by how those old birds were able to navigate the open ocean.
