So for my thirtieth birthday I decided to jump outside my comfort zone and sing a couple of songs. This was the final song that I dedicated to my three siblings, for being truly awesome people. Starts with a shoutout to the fam, then singing begins at 04:35 . It also includes my sister doing what MCs shouldn't - heckling the guests.

What’s the song playing in the background at the end?
I never really heard about the Bangles, since the 80s weren't my music decade ( I am a child of the Seventies), but after I realized what fantastic hits they had I am very impressed. I know almost all big songs of them, never knowing it was The Bangles.
Does anyone else think it’s weird how Lorelei just gave the tickets to Louis and Madeleine without asking Sockie?
No. Lorelei (and Rory to an extent) are both selfish and entitled narcissists. Nothing they do surprises me. I would have fucked her up if I were Sookie though.

I love Paris, she's just paying attention to the song and vibing like you're supposed to do in a concert, and for anyone curious, the song at the start was "Hero takes a fall", and second song with the much more mellow melody is "Eternal flame" :-)

I love how Paris keeps looking striate at the concert during Rory's argument with Louise and Madeline and ignores it completely but the second they ask her to come she responds "no thanks" in a cold sharp way, which showed she was listening while it seemed like she wasn't but just didn't care and showed them just how much by blowing them off and finally faced up to them
When I heard this song in this episode, I was like “WOW that is the song Caroline sung in Tvd!”

urgh. back then i didnt know the bangles yet but i used to watch this show. anyway, sad they disbanded few months after this last #1 hit of theirs. who would have know that there was already something going on while they were shooting the vid. miss micki steele. hope they have a final reunion performance with her. if not, then nevermind. i dont really watch any of their performances as a trio.
