No, that is not the real reason. The main reason is the Holy Almighty God who chose the Jews as His people. This makes other tribes and nations jealous, especially those ruled by demon-possessed people (and there are many of them). It all started in the Garden of Eden and has never stopped from there. But the price of being God's people is extremely high and is a path of suffering. Israel and its people are God's map that shows the rest of the world where we stand in history. As a follower of Jesus/ Yeshua, I fully believe that GOD'S promise to bless His people, Israel has not passed in favor of the Church . We've not replaced them but are an extension of the Jewish faith. Both they and we Christians have the same enemy, Satan, and it's he who is stirring up hatred to both groups. There were Jews in India and China too. They were never hated or persecuted , even by Muslims or Christians in India.

It's envy. The problem is people see the success now, they do not see the work to achieve success. They do not see the grandfather in his prime working a low-end job and making it up a couple of ranks. They don't see the father working off his father's shoulders and getting a business established and thriving over his lifetime. I think that's one part of it. The other being that they don't believe Jesus is the son of God. Many Christians feel they're being slapped in the face when Jews reject Jesus as God. Adding to this, My wife is israeli american. Not only is the success a threat to people i notice, its a threat to a lot of white people as jews are seen as a "breakaway group" from europeans in peoples minds. like a group that is higher on the hierarchy than whites, but "should" be functioning at the same level. but they arent because their habits and culture is different and that REALLY threatens peoples egos. Its fine to hate white people as far as society is concerned, so when white people hate a group higher up than them, they can redirect more vitriol to a new target.
