I like how War Daddy and Bible are just chilling on the tank smoking a cigarette as they leave the destroyed town only moments after nearly being blown up. They’re just like “meh, just another day”. Tragic

This scene really encapsulates the most human version of Forrest. He is truly aware of his mental condition and he doesn’t mind it. But when it comes to his son, that’s his most vulnerable moment as he feared his son might end up the same as him.

In retrospect I can see what they wanted to do with T-Bag, and honestly I'm glad he essentially "matured" by the final season, Knepper is the best actor on the show by far, stole every scene he was in. But come on guys, T-Bag was a reprehensible murderer lol. Mahone was my favourite and they nailed his redemption, same with Bellick, but to say he was ever truly a good guy is a stretch. They really should have given him more chances to be heroic, because he kinda still was a massive narcissitic sociopath even in the 4th season. Still, best thing about this show was always the character development and I am ultimately glad they got around to giving T-Bag some proper nice moments.

The composers of this movie did an excellent job at conveying emotion. Start off slow, and build up in suspense then the dialogue "You feel that, you feel that? ITS CALLED WAR, YOU FEEL THAT" and then it all just crashes beautifully and then just slowly disappear with the feeling of an emotion many soldiers went through... sorrow. Just beautiful... there still are some great composers out there, just wish they were shown outside of film as well.
