Hello, I do not recall seeing a screen door at this resort or any resort for that matter. It is likely something that would break frequently. That being said, it seems like an appropriate feature for a high end resort. Cheers

Definitely Patron re tequila. They had at least four different Mezcal. I don’t remember the names. As for gin and whiskey, expect mid range offerings like Beefeater and Jim Beam. I did not see anything really high end.

You are welcome! If you close the hatch, it could mess the set up a bit. You could pull it off in a matter of minutes. Also, the tent does zip up. The mesh screen that you can see in the video is a window and zips up with tent fabric. Once you zip up that screen, it should stay fairly warm inside. Cheers.

It was definitely a buzz kill. Generally speaking, the street food in Thailand has been amazing. Make sure to check out the Cicada night market in Hua Hin. I am working on that video. I think it is open on the weekends. Very nice night market with great food options. Cheers. ​@@user-ww1zr2qt2h

Hello, you can use the facilities, waterpark, bars, nightlife, shows and lunch buffet at the Riu Dunamar next door. We went over there on a few occasions for the shows or just to hang out. The Riu Palace will offer to bring you to some of the theme parties at the other resorts where the drinks and access to those resorts will be included that day. This happened on two occasions during our week long stay. However, you do not have full access to all of the other resorts on a whim. Cheers.

Hi Jenn, I subbed to help you reach that 1000! We did not see lobster at the other restaurants. It really is just a small tail and nothing like a Canadian lobster. Overall however, we thought the food was pretty good. Cheers

Hello, we were at the resort in March. The beach and the warm ocean water were amazing. To my knowledge, there is no snorkeling at the beach. The Akumal Bay Beach and Wellness resort on my channel has very good snorkeling right off the beach but note that it is a much smaller and quieter resort. I also think that the sargassum could be worse in this area but I am not an expert. The service at the Akumal resort was really good and we plan to go back some day.

The restaurants have full menus and you will have several options to choose from. Chicken, fish, beef and a vegetarian option typically.

Hey, I just realized that you are wondering if one person can order several main courses at the a la carte restaurants. I think you will find many great choices at the buffet and you can eat as much as you want. At the a la carte restaurants, I did see a couple order three main courses and the waiter was a bit hesitant. He ultimately allowed it. I don’t know what the resort’s policy regarding this question. Hello, there are Facebook groups and websites that monitor the sargassum levels in this region. It really is unpredictable and can be worse during the hotter months. Parts of Isla Mujeres and Costa Mujeres may receive less sargassum. If your heart is set on this wonderful resort, then sargassum is something that you will have to accept. There will be good days and bad days. I hope this is helpful.

Yes, the waves that you see in this video were pretty consistent all week. I suppose that in windy conditions, the waves would be a bit larger. The beach is really nice in Costa Mujeres. Cheers
