Budget MIG Welder review, Hobart handler 210 mvp
Man. Auto guys are awesome, but they are NOT welders lol
question: what would a used machine like this go for and what would come with it? Great weld on Alum. I might need some help if that would be ok
600-700 brand new. Expect 400-600 used.
Slick welds bud!
Nice upgrade 💪🏽👍🏽
Really good looking setup!
Lol $80 windows 10 tablets with unlimited tuning!
What upper and lower control arms are you using
Everything is from Trick chassis
so how do you like it so far ?
Still working great. No complaints.
I really want that 12.3 prodash but with this price tag lol
You have use a pro gear .street gears just can't take the punishment😅 in the 12bolt
👌🏼
I’ve been debating this vs some Vulcan machines like the 205 that have a little more fine tuning for AC. Have you noticed any short comings with the “lack” of adjustments on the 200?
I have not. This machine works great for an entry level machine. I would buy the newer model if I was currently looking for one. It has more adjustments and pulse.
Nice welder. I am a beginner. I clicked on the video because I saw the HOBART. I am using one at work, it's a different model, but looks identical to yours. The machine is solid and easy to use. I am considering buying this welder for my own personal use. Good video, thanks a bunch.👍
Did you weld that aluminum with a 110v outlet?
No. I have not used this welder on the 110v adapter. I would think it will not perform well..
@@nelsonspeedfab1107I won't run this on 110.
I was watching your last video, and I was just about to ask, "where is your radiator going to go?". This rear mounted radiator stuff seems like a popular thing. As much as I don't want to do this to what I'm building, it looks like I will be mounting a radiator in the back as well. Thanks for sharing your project it is helping me figure out my nightmare turbo project, lol.
It actually runs cooler with the radiator in the rear. The previous year I ran the radiator and 4” air to air intercooler in the front.
This model is currently going for $1150
That is crazy!
Yeah I just picked up a 190, best price I could find was $850 at RK
Your thoughts on this welder that Eastwood now offers with water cooling?
It could benefit from a water cooler. I have welded 1/4 thick aluminum and the torch was so hot I could not hold onto it. For The average guy’s home shop I don’t think it is necessary.
@nelsonspeedfab1107 I would like to try my hand at this, and possibly, purchase one. I've never tried this application of welding ever before, only stick and wire feed welding. I do a fair amount of welding. Currently, I have an Eastwood MIG 175. Along with a Versa-Cut 60, which I love. I'm trying to research which TIG welder to get. That being said, 6 months down the road, I do not want to say, "Shoot, I should have gotten this one instead." Thanks in advance.
Have you ever had to put longer leads on that machine? I ordered one and it says it comes with a 6’ lead. Didn’t know if the performance is affected by longer ones. Great channel
I have not used longer leads.
$600? I wish I could find it that inexpensive...
That is crazy the price has went up that much! It is still working great!
Nice! competition is always good for the consumer
Ive got the 12.3 holley, the price is reasonable
Hows that 85/102 spool? Is yours a 5.3?
I see it's 6.0
It spools fairly quick without pulling any timing.
Looks good
Maybe rubber isolators between the aluminum tabs and the frame. Sure you thought of that.
Thanks for the upload! This channel desperately needs S M Zeus!
Cool clip! We ordered a 10” as well. Thanks for sharing
Pretty slick!
👊🏼🤙🏼
What's your take on the Eastwood?
I am very happy with it. The foot pedal that it comes with sucks, but works. I ended up buying the better foot pedal they offer.
Glad I found your channel, just started a ‘66 myself! Good luck to us both!
Where did you purchase?, I can't find this online
He only sells through Facebook as far as I know.
Hell yea!
Keep going with the videos, they are awesome
Thank you, I appreciate that! New video of cold side and first start being edited now.
What about flex fuel?
Not sure if it will show flex fuel content if that is what you are asking..
Just got my dash today.
This gives me so much hope to receiving mine very soon. How long ago did you order yours? What size did you go with? I bought the 7 inch
What years are your sons C10s. I been giving this digital dash display lots of thoughts
1984 and 1965
@@nelsonspeedfab1107 will they each have 10 inch screens also.
@@joryhaggerty5380 yes all have 10”
How does one go about having an odometer function
Tinker Electronics has just odometer and turn signal functions
How long ago did you order it? Mine should be coming in the next few weeks I can’t wait
Took about 6 weeks.
@@nelsonspeedfab1107 thank you, I’m week 3 and I spoke with him a few days ago he said they just got the shipment in so they will be shipped in the coming weeks
How much are they
