I broke things off with a guy because of this very thing. I asked him what his passion is because I couldn’t put my thumb on it. I’ve told everyone “I’m going to be an architect” since I was 14 & I’ve had my license for almost 6 years now, so I don’t understand goalless mindsets. He said music & being an entrepreneur but that happened not long ago, mostly because he was inspired by his favorite musician, but I told him I don’t buy it which led to a conversation of us breaking off any romance because we didn’t have much in common and staying friends after that. He went through some self reflection & now has goals for his future. And it’s not music. I’m always interested in what makes someone come alive.

I watch Elaine's videos and get annoyed. These plans only work if the elder generation is trustworthy. We have meetings, we make plans, then the patriarch does whatever he thinks is best in his mind at the time. We have been surprised by truck loads of supplies arriving, over $100k of new equipment just showing up, and labor being reassign to different tasks. No plan survives contact with the enemy, we've met this enemy, he is us.

Can't wait to implement these strategies and see the difference they make. Thanks for sharing such a comprehensive guide! 🚜🌱

There are a certain type of individual that, when given a boundary, will violate that boundary intentionally just to 'get a rise' out of you. They like to get you upset, and keep you off balance. This is how they maintain control. If you react to their behavior, they act hurt. Saying things like: Look at all I've done for you. Or, I guess I'm just old and stupid and don't know how to farm. The worst thing is , whatever they did that caused you to react, it's guaranteed to happen again. Just so they can watch you blow up again.
