Victory At All Cost - Recording Bass for The Impending Live!
I just found this video on Paolo's TH-cam channel. I wasn't aware he did this. Paolo recording bass live on twitch for The Impending. I sent him the impending ep just before it was released dec 6 and he thought it sounded killer!
Quick history:
Back in 1999 - 2003 Paolo and I were in a thrash band together. I asked him to play bass on this song we wrote back in 2000 and he said yes! I only speak to Paolo once a year probably because he is busy and has an awesome family! I wish them all a happy and healthy new year!!

That Les Paul Custom is delicious. I've always wanted a black custom, what year is that one?
@@AdamDallas This one is 1971. It's not all original though. That's why it's got the EMGs in it. I have a 1979 all original custom. If you're in the market, I would go towards anything after 1975 or 76 because the frets are slightly higher than the fretless Wonder.

the rhythm through the solo is incorrect, the chords in the 1st half goes as you do E,A. E,A. E,A BUT then change goes to a G,D. but the 2nd half is correct

What is a punk rod?
@@victoryatallcost Sorry for the delay. A Punk Rod is a two string guitar, or bass. It's tuned to an interval, a Perfect Fourth or a Perfect Fifth, so things like Power Chords and Dyads can be accessible. But it doesn't have to be two strings. I've seen four strings, where there were two guitar strings, tuned to a Perfect Fifth, and two Bass strings, tuned to a Perfect Fourth. I've even seen an 18- String monster, that was part Fourths, part Ostrich Tuning.
