pov: you're climbing the Ouray Via Ferrata
Experience the Ouray Via Ferrata just like I did! Located in Ouray, Colorado this Via Ferrata is great for beginners and offers a couple different routes. We did the downstream route which was packed with great views and was a thrill.
You can do this with a tour guide like we did or if you are experienced you can do it yourself, just be sure to look online for any additional info needed!

Join us as we hike down the Gunnison Route in Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park! This was a memorable (but hard) hike with a huge reward down at the bottom.. the Gunnison River! The South Rim Visitors Center issues 15 permits per day for this trail, you can get your permit the day before your desired hiking day at the South Rim Visitor Center at 3:30pm (check website for updates and ch...

Today was our first day at Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park and we were very impressed! We went to all the different lookout spots as well as the notorious "Painted Wall". We then got a permit we needed for our hike the following day, and then set up camp and did a hike near the campsite. All in all a great day at Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park!

Today we drove to Aspen to see and hike around Maroon Bells! This was my favorite hike of the trip (so far) and definitely a must do if you're in the Aspen area. Make sure to look into taking a shuttle if you plan on visiting because there are a few different options and we had to book it the night before,

Today we explored Glenwood Springs by kayak in the Colorado River! We also got to enjoy some natural hot springs located right on the river as well. Glenwood Springs beat my expectations! We also spent some time downtown after kayaking and I didn't get any footage but it was a cool downtown with live music and lots of good vibes! Here's the company we rented kayaks from Coloradowhitewaterraftin...

Join us in our first day in Breckenridge, Colorado as we explore the town for the first time. We took the gondola all the way up and checked out what the resort town had to offer, and then hiked back down into town. It was a more chill "reset" kind of day for us. Tomorrow we will be exploring some alpine lakes close by Breckenridge!

Sweet gondola ride!!
Was rad bro!!
IT IS NOT IN SAGUARO NATIONAL PARK. IT LIES WITHIN TUCSON MOUNTAIN PARK. It's a nice place but now it's taken over by the party crowd. I stayed here 3 nights last week (Sept 10-13, 2024) and it was HELL. Campers in B-3 were making so much noise, and were yelling and screaming between 5 and 6am. Constantly played w their car alarm. The last 2 nights there they began playing their sterero loud enough for me to hear it, even though our campsites were about 150 yards apart. They eventually brought a dog in - or did they have friends over? Not sure. Anyways every time the coyotes would start howling, the dog would start barking and it wouldn't shut up. IT SUCKED! I think part of the problem is that there is no longer a camp host. They used to have a campground host here, who was good, and would be patrolling the campground on a regular basis. Another person showed up the first night and blasted THEIR stereo from 9pm-12am, and then left, without paying for their site. If you want peace and quiet, this is probably no longer the place to do. Have a Plan B and a Plan C. I haven't been to Picacho Peak State Park's campground lately, but that could be an option. Not much wilderness out there between Marana and Tucson, and what there is, is in the midst of heavy smuggler's territory and are no longer safe. No staff on site at all except between Jan - Mar. That needs to change. BTW, right now H Loop is closed. So is C Loop.
🫶🏼
Do they have a ban on campfires?
It looks like currently until Sep 30th it is restricted. But I'm only finding info on Lost Dutchman State park, but I'm assuming same rules would apply. Idk I'm having a tough time finding more info atm
agreed!!! 💯 Walk! 😂👍🏻
If your still here when the mountains start changing colors do a ski lift ride or get up there 🤙🏻
Back home in AZ now 😭 but already trying to plan a ski trip for the winter!
Great video I visited there about 30years ago. I enjoyed seeing your pics. Great memories for me. Fun place thankyou
Thank you Debbie! That's incredible you went there 30 years ago, maybe you can go again soon!
Are those the 7 cities?
Just be careful with any public bench/park tables especially near rivers. They become homeless beds and houses at night since the homeless problem has gotten so bad in this state.
Ah true, thx. There was actually a lot of homeless ppl at this park, so you're probably spot on.
Id hiked it nude back in May. 12, 2018! 6am-5pm! And future June 21, 2025! Every one welcomed!
😮beautiful landscapes. What camera do you use? Love the quality 👌🏼
In this video a go pro 10, but I also have a canon M50 I use a lot as well!
@conorkcarroll omw to get one. Thanks a lot.
What time of year was this trip taken?
We went in the middle of March!
Bigfoot sightings?
Oh ya.. bears too
Slides with no socks should be a crime...side note Ive always wanted to do one of those mountain coaster things
Arrest me!! Haha yeah the mountain coaster was dope. I think there's one in northern az somewhere

unbelievable!
Is lower canyon claustrophobic sensation?
No not at all, I never felt claustrophobic once
My ankle hurts thinking about that...
Lol! Oh man my legs are feeling it today.. it was 1,800 ft elevation down, and 1,800 ft back up. Total trip being a little over 2 miles... Aka it was very steep 😆
Been hiking and backpacking the Sups since the 80s. Longest trip we took is came in at Fremont Saddle and came out at Flatiron almost a week later. There is a hike for everyone in the Superstitions, from short and easy like Hieroglyphics trail to more difficult like Ridgeline or Battleship. Miles of trails, old ranches , old mines, caves and Indian ruins, springs and seasonal streams make sure there is something for everyone. Thanks for sharing your experience!
That's awesome! It's an incredible area for sure and we have a lot more exploring out there to do.. more backpacking videos coming in the future. Thanks for watching!
@@conorkcarroll Awesome, will be looking forward to them! Bit of advice for the Superstitions, never ever underestimate the desert. Always ensure you have enough water, I could never stress that enough. Be a Boyscout, be prepared! Sounds like common sense but, you would be surprised. Best piece of advice, don’t always stick to the main trail. We have discovered so many amazing places just exploring. As an avid caver we have found dozens and dozens of mines in the area, if you are prepared and careful, they can be a lot of fun. We have also found quite a few caves, some pretty extensive. Most of those are not in any records or information available to us. It’s a beautiful place to explore maybe 10 months out of the year, otherwise head north!
@@rvtech101 thanks for the info! Next time I head out there maybe I'll ask you for recommendations for a good backpacking route.. I know there's so much out there it's probably hard to choose lol.
Thank you for being quiet where the owls were - a lot of people either didn’t see the 2 signs that were in your face or couldn’t read or were narcicists that just couldn’t stop talking
My pleasure, gotta respect the owls!!
humans are also entitled to be where the owls nest, tired of alll this save the enviroment stuff, the landscape is in constant flux.hence the terrain being so eroded and wildlife comes and goes.but they manage to live there a lot easier than humans can,and if noise pisses them off they move, people who live in noisy citys cant do the same.
Such a hardship for you to be quiet for 100 yards …dont imagine you heard the spectacular canyon wren calls then…your loss.
I'm disabled now so can't even consider doing these hikes, you making this type of video is just wonderful for me, because of you I can walk it from my sofa so thank you so much and I am so pleased you stayed safe.
So sorry to hear it, but I'm glad you could experience the hike this way! I plan on making more like this in the future, it seems a lot of ppl enjoyed it.
Good video, thank you. I am going to upper antelope tomorrow...excited for it.
Thank you, have fun! It's amazing to see in person, you'll have a great time
Great trip! I would love to know some of the equipment you utilized.
Thanks! So being it was our first time we rented the backpacks, sleeping bags, and tent from a local camping store called Just Roughin It. The backpacks I believe were Osprey and were around the 60L mark. Sleeping bags were Nemo, and the tent I can't remember the brand. For cooking we brought our own Jetboil. Is there anything specific you wanted to know about? I think besides those main things it's just little stuff like a powerbank to charge our phones, books, utensils, headlamp, stuff like that.
Awesome!!
yoo thx dude!!
@conorkcarroll for sure! I never made it to horseshoe bend yet! But it's pinned on my map
you gotta go when you get the chance. lots of good stuff in that area to explore.. horseshoe, antelope canyon, lake powell.. pretty dope
Noooice
I never knew you spoke Mexican!
amigo!
Nice one. Like it 😃
Thank you! Cheers! 😁
I stayed there many years ago. They had a teepee you could rent. I stayed there during a thunderstorm and it was amazing! The convenience of staying in town was spot on!
no way! I don't recall seeing a teepee.. but I could just be forgetting. that sounds awesome though.. & you're right being close to town is great, especially if it's your first time in Moab!
@@conorkcarroll that was the year 1997.
very dangerous of your wife , the way her walking poles are secured to her back..should definitely have left them behind, like you did...they stick way out past her body and on a narrow ledge she can accidentally bump them against some one and that person would b past tense Way to clunky.....Otherwise a very good video of the trail...
Yes, agreed. Thank you!
