Classic car value an important aspect of any restoration
มุมมอง 1573 ปีที่แล้ว
One of the key steps in classic cars restorations is to know the value of your car, in this video, I share with you my way of finding the value related information using the following websites. www.nadaguides.com/ bringatrailer.com/ www.ebay.co.uk/ www.ebay.com/ www.worthpoint.com/ Follow my mate Shahzad th-cam.com/users/BrownCarGuy For the video in Arabic th-cam.com/video/Wtd03OSMBDg/w-d-xo.html

New project with new challenges, what do you think I should do ? For Arabic: th-cam.com/video/ptArhO5Vtds/w-d-xo.html للعربية
The charger can wait for a signal from the car. Mine was looking for a ready to charge signal so did not work
Do you know they are from😂
I've seen several 907 engine blocks on ebay.
Hope you found an engine they don’t seem that bad to source
Strip down the current engine, make a list of the parts you need to rebuild it. You may be surprised if many parts are undamaged how cheep it can be fixed... There are lots of the 900 series Lotus engines about ... Good luck with the project!
Dude you are awesome
I have considered converting one of my JH to all electric using duel electric motors on a single shaft with 2 controllers. use single motor for maximum mileage and dual motor drive for maximum performance. Looking for a partner or supplier for the motors and controller. I have a number of JH to convert, contact me via the AOL Jensen Healey group
Looks like a MK1 body with Mk2 trim to me - what about a Lotus 911/2 2.2L if you can't get a 907.and the colour is certainly not original.
There is 1 car in Bahrain. I find out if he like to seal it or seal the engine for you.
Yes, Please Do. I would love to know more about the car, appreciate any photos and the car VIN as this can help update the global record.
Nice one! Hoping to see the build in the coming weeks
Great stuff and best wishes.
Interesting project. Excellent presentation. All the best.
Alibaba electric conversion kit
I like your "expensive" hand sign at 7:34 we do the same in Italy :D If the engine is matching numbers I would definitely rebuild it, not hard to get all the required parts from the UK. If it's not matching numbers I would swap it for another Lotus engine same type, a UK specialist will still use the good leftover parts from the old engine. An electric conversion would seem an environmental choice, but actually is not. Lots of damage and pollution has been done already to build the massive batteries it will require all over the car chassis, we just don't get to see that, plus everything always overheat during use and recharge, and that also creates micro-emissions.
Fantastic video! Can't wait to see more of it! Kind regards from Scotland.
Thanks Mark! I'm hoping to start working on the car next week, summer heat is not helping out, missing the summer days in Scotland!
Engines are fairly inexpensive in the US and the UK, but it's always very desirable to get a Euro spec higher compression engine with the Dellortos. The US emissions version is completely dogged and sluggish.
Thanks Chris for your input! I have been reading about that and how targeting the US market back in the day had a major influence, not on the engine alone but styling as well. Saw that engines were recently sold for reasonable prices, but I might have got another plan 😁 I will keep you posted as I figure it out.
Go with EV car and im ready to help ..
Many thanks Laith!!
There is a company that fully renovates the Jensen interceptor and swap it with ls3 (which you’re not a fan of😂) but they have concluded them very nicely with a Jaguar similar interior and there are a couple of them in Dubai as I remember
Thanks, Esmaeil, I just googled that, it is a truly nice setup. I like the way they have used custom covers to have the engine fit and look well, also love their website configurator jensen-sales.com/configurator/. For the record, LS3 is a great power plant that I appreciate, the part that I'm "not a fan of" is the "LS everything" movement! ;)
They are lovely cars. I'm sure you may be needing this guy in the UK at some point. Good luck. www.martinrobey.com/jensen-healey
That is very helpful Gerry, Thanks!
@@muslehmobiles3621 my pleasure, I'll be watching with interest.

Cool project
Looks like a cool project, I don't think this is the original color as it comes either red or yellow as far as I'm aware. I would go for the electric engine. True it would be great to keep it classic, but also something sustainable and useful in the future is needed.
Thanks for that Haif, I'm looking for the production details, with not many made there is a high chance that I can get hold of that, I will know then the original color, however, there is some red shades in the car. Electric is certainly a hot option 🔥 Thanks!
Brilliant video, amazing project. Wish you all the best of luck with this!
Thanks mate, really appreciate the support! 😃
How about a Saab 16V engine, easily and cheaply available, and similar to the lotus.
Never thought of that Paul, it is certainly going on the list, I will find more about it, although, not so many Saabs around here but no 907 either! Thanks!
@@muslehmobiles3621 NO you have to keep the original twin cam lotus engine. That engine is part of the cars apeal and history.
Awesome bro! Look forward to seeing what you do with this! If it's anything like your other creations it'll be incredible :)
Thanks Imran! 😃
All the best abu zeko
