I love mine but mine are new and both times I have worn the m they have rubbed a blister on my calf on the sides. The top of the boots feel kinda sharp so I wounder if I should try and smooth it out?

My goal and retriever loves duck hunting as well I took him goose hunting last year and he loved it when we were up in Canada when I was visiting some old friends from when I was a kid they're really old now like in their '60s and '70s but I got to go goose hunting with Rusty for the first time and he loved it but I didn't have to train him to go duck hunting and got him from the pound when he was a year old and I started throwing decoys and he naturally took on to it and then we went to the dock of course and he went in the water retrieve them that I took him duck hunting for the first time after about a Lily a week of showing him on what to do he caught on so fast and then it was duck season a week later I took him duck hunt for the first time and he took on to it naturally the first duck I shot he was in the water got the duck and brought it back to me and got back in the boat loves it they even have to train and I got them from the county animal shelter pound and they were fixing to put him down cuz no one won the adopt him cuz I guess no one wanted a big dog I guess and they only keep dogs for 2 weeks before they put them down and he was free too had all his shots and everything so I adopted him Best friend I've ever had and one of the best dogs I've ever had I love that dog to death He's got cancer now so he doesn't go duck hunting as much now he goes once a year and that's it because his joints hurt so bad but that cold water hurts him but he loves it so I only take him once a year but this year I might take him every time I go because he's got cancer and I don't know how long he's going to live he just had surgery a month ago and he's finally fully healed from that and he loves sitting in the deer stand as well he'll smell a deer from a country mile away before I even know there's a deer around and he'll sit there real quietly when the deer gets close and why shoot him he gets really excited and loves to go roll on them and play with on him he doesn't bite him he just rolls around on top of the deer once I shoot him and of course I gave him a treat by cooking up a little tiny piece of deer me on the campfire I'll make real quick right near the tree stand while I'm field dressing the deer and I cook me a little piece of deer meat as well while I'm feel dressing as a treat and I'll cook him a little piece over the fire as well just to get rid of the parasites I cook his rare and I've cooked mine medium well over the fire just enough heat to get rid of any parasites or bugs on the meat so he don't get to tapeworms or stomach worms or heartworms then I'll do the same thing with duck I'll cook up duck after we get done hunting and give him some duckmeat as well but never ever I feed him raw meat just because of his age now when he was younger I used to do it one little tiny piece every time we went duck hunting and then one little piece off of each deer we would shoot together. And the crazy part is I never taught him on how to go underwater and hold his breath and bath but the first week I got him we have an inground swimming pool he jumped in the pool to go play the balls and stuff and that's when I realized he'd be a good hunt dog or one of his tennis balls he chewed a hole in it It sunk to the bottom got out of the pool of those head first to the bottom of the 8 ft deep and I thought he was going to drown comes back up with the ball and he wasn't coughing or choker or nothing like dogs usually do when they go underwater he go down swam to the bottom got the bottom came back up if I had a few ducks and geese that have sank and he'll swim down and go get them and the deepest he swam down is 15 ft it's ridiculous I don't like when he does it cuz he can get caught up in logs and fishing line or whatever weeds and stuff and it scares me to death when he does it but I'll tell him no when he grabs when he goes where the duck wasn't it sinks if I think it's an unsafe place for him to go dive or it's too deep and he won't go diving for it and I know the meat won't go to waste cuz of catfish or something will eat it but if it's five foot of water or less than I let him dive down and go get it because I can save him if he gets tangled up in something but it's any more than 5 to 8 ft deep I'm not letting him go down underwater. After every time he gets in the water from hunting or just swimming in the swimming pool I got like three different bottles of ear cleaners and medicines I got to put in his ears and I got used q-tips and make sure there's no water left in his ears and stuff like that cuz he'll get a yeast infection inside of his ears and will get real real hot and itchy and sore and hurt him if I don't clean and drive his ears out with q-tips and put the special liquids and medicines in and then this one thing I put in which turns through like kind of a powder that gave me the Prince I was ears the keep everything dry if there's any moisture left over that's the last one I put in it works very well and he hasn't had a yeast infection in years and years ever since I've been using this stuff but make sure you keep his ears clean cuz they will get yeast infections golden retrievers will inside their ears
