The fans ran to the far end where The Biff was signing autographs for fan. Where's Johnnie and Sug?

Made it down to the track for a walk thru the MENARD SERIES cars and get some of the drivers signing autographs for the fans. Got John and his uncle Gus waiting to get The Biff's signature.
Back to The Roots Car Show in Rainier Oregon

Since this was just a few steps from my place I had to walk thru the park and see what kind of machinery was circled up on the grass. There were some pretty nice cars and as always a friendly crowd. The 31 Ford with a 32 grill really caught my eye and the 68 Camaro sent shivers up my spine with the powerplant whining down the street.

The display was very well thought out on this Volkswagon at Forest Grove. I think the interior has every option available and look at the inner fenders and engine compartment.

3 examples of Marcelo Gandini designed cars. Lamborghini Miura owned by Jon Shirley won Best in Show Post War @ Arizona Concourse in 2024 and was stunning to see. Also on display was a black 1968 Lamborghini Espada Series 1 and a red 194 Romeo Montreal.

The Mercedes has to be worth a pretty penny and was nice enough to make it onto the cover of the event program and t-shirts for this year.

50th Annual Forest Grove Concours d'Elegance Walk Thru

This is one of the premier events in the Pacific Northwest and as always it was a stunner of a show. Micheal Allen Harrison and Dan Balmer were there playing some tunes for the crowd. There was a mix of weather and as noon approached the convertible tops came down.
