Love Rome. Thanks for taking us along. Like 2 from your newest friend👍❤️
Thank you for the like and comment. Very glad you enjoyed our video. Thanks for watching ❤❤
Beautiful, and I like your idea on the lighting in the afternoon too. Thinking of going next week, as we'll have two full days in Roma and this could be nice for our third day. How long were you in the town and assuming you loved it!?
Hi thanks for the comment. If you've never been to Rome then there's so much to see that it's probably best staying in Rome for 3 days. We stayed a week in Rome so had lots of time. If you really want to go then I would recommend a direct train to Tivoli and see villa gregoriana in the morning, have lunch in the town and then walk to Villa d'este cus it's close. There's also a Hadrian's villa a bus ride away depending how much time you have but it's very big lol Hope you have a good time 😊
Que lugar bonito!!!!! 💖💖
Hi,Is beatiful. What price Is it fo Garden? IT IS really gratis? Thanks for you answer.
Hi thanks for the comment, I can't remember how much we paid but it was at the entrance between 10 - 15 euro I think

Thanks and welcome
Nice!
Thank you! Cheers!
My family are from Pontremoli.
It's not on the tourist hit list and let's keep it that way.
Thanks again for your videos! We have yet to visit Navigli but hope to get there this summer. Thanks for the restaurant recommendation. When your new videos come up, it always makes my day. Your joyful attitudes are so refreshing!
Oh, and if you know of any non-name brand leather shops in that area, I would love to know about them! I’m not into name brands, and I’m looking for things that will be soft, sturdy, and stand up to a lot of travel.
We're not that into shopping either so unfortunately we can't help much here lol Maybe have a look online like Amazon see what they might have. That's what we do ;)
Thank you for this lovely video! I feel like I just had a mini-holiday! You two are just the sweetest, and I love your videos. I have some tips for you about the Duomo next time you visit Milan. If you want to go into the Duomo, buy your tickets online to skip the long queues. Also, our niece used to live there, and, when we asked her for tips before our trip, she said that her favorite thing was to go to the top of the Duomo. You can buy separate tickets online for that too, and last summer (2022) the entrance for that was around the side, not at the front, because you’re actually climbing up a tower to the top, not going inside of the Duomo. It is good exercise, and the views are incredible! You really get to see the amazing stone carvings and beautiful views of the city. It ended up being our favorite thing too! It was hot though (June) so we were happy to have our water bottles especially after the long climb. People sometimes even sit down on the roof to rest, and we even saw a woman reading a book and just sitting and enjoying the sun. The inside of the Duomo is incredible obviously, and since you like history, you might like this next part too. There is a crypt underneath that you can visit which has an archeological dig of the original church and tombs of the early Christians that existed before the Duomo was built on top of it, and there’s also a mosaic floor from the baptismal pool where St. Ambrose baptized St. Augustine. St. Augustine, a doctor of the church who converted to Christianity after living quite a wild life, and his mother, St. Monica, are two of my favorite saints, so it was pretty powerful for me to see that. (In case you don’t know, St. Ambrose, the bishop of Milan at the time, is actually buried at a different church in Milan, and St. Augustine is buried in a nearby town.) They all lived in the 300s and 400s, so the basement part is much older than the upper part of the Duomo. You enter the archeological area by going down a stairway from the inside of the Duomo, so I think you must have tickets to go inside the Duomo itself to get in there. I can’t remember if we had to pay extra for the archeological area or not, but we love history, so it was a no -brainer for us. I do remember that there was a person stationed at the top of the steps to let us go down there. Back in the upper part of the Duomo, if you are Catholic, there is a special roped off section of the Duomo with a different outside entrance and side altar reserved for worshippers where you can go in to attend Mass and to pray. Also, inside the regular part of the Duomo itself there are self guided tour headphones you can rent to hear the history. It was quite interesting because the Duomo is ENORMOUS and has so many famous works of art, tombs, and side altars to hear about. I’m sure you already know this, but people, women especially, need to be dressed kind of modestly. Otherwise they require you to wear (possibly buy?) a paper covering to go inside. We only saw a few women wearing these, but underneath they had spaghetti strap tops and very short shorts. I had on a t-shirt and skort which was almost to my knees, and I was fine. Also, “A small red light bulb in the dome above the apse marks the spot where one of the nails reputedly from the Crucifixion of Christ has been placed. The Holy Nail is retrieved and exposed to the public every year, during a celebration known as the Rite of the Nivola.” I never know if these things are actually real or not, but if you’re Christian, it’s very poignant to think that one of the nails used to crucify Christ is there and to see the red light up high marking its location. To me it’s even powerful to know the lengths that people will go to in order to venerate something that might be a fake, so I don’t really care if it’s authentic or not. As a Catholic Christian myself, it’s all about love and imitating Christ anyway, and I just feel privileged to be in a place where so many people have worshipped Him for millennia. We have a conference there again this summer, so I’m anxious to get back. Your video is helping me deal with the waiting. Ha! I hope you get to go back to Milan again soon and go to the top of the Duomo! I’d love to see a video if you do! Thanks so much for making them.
Hi Alyeska 13. Thank you so much for your lovely message and feed back. It's nice to hear you are enjoying our videos; makes us want to make more lol. You have definitely inspired us to visit the entire Duomo. We definitely want to see Milan again, maybe during the winter when it's not so hot and busy, and maybe less expensive. And we will, of course, make a video of the experience, all the while thinking of you :) Thanks again! Enjoy your trip to Milan xx
I love your videos! We were just in Monza for one evening last June, so we didn’t get to see a lot. We did get to enjoy a nice meal and some amazing gelato though! Thanks for posting these. You really make me feel like I’m there.
Thank you for your very kind comment, so nice to hear someone enjoys our videos. We loved Monza too; they do do good gelato!
SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH THAT GIRL ????
Probably, that would explain why she's stayed with me for 16 years lol
nice video! I love lake Como, it's my happy place, going back there tomorrow 🙂
Have fun, we're going to try Lake Garda next so hopefully we like that too.
finally, good music!
Thanks it's not easy finding music because the royalty free music on TH-cam isn't vast and we only do this for fun. Some people that do it for money pay websites to use good music 🎵 lol
@@maholidaylife381 thanks, I didn’t know there was a limited choice of music, I was surprised why the majority of similar videos are accompanied by such appalling techno noise, I can’t call it music. Now I know why. Best wishes

We're sitting in our house in the States the day after New Year's Day and stumbled across your video. You must have been there late September or early October as you shot our balcone (we could tell be what flowers we had out then) and walked by our front door. Watching your video was a great way to flash back to our home in Italy. Hope to be back for a month in February!
Thanks for the comment, we walked past everyone's house in old Pontremoli lol I've got family around Pontremoli so go there quiet often. Next video will be up soon about our day trip to Portovenere lol
