Great video! Thank you! My doodle was groomed regularly - she was on a 5 week schedule, but we lost our groomer and they kept leading us on with a new groomer……yet no call. Our doodle’s chat got away from us and I felt awful!!!!! First, thank you for not shaming and secondly, thank you for the information. I can’t find another groomer so I bought andis clippers and I needed this video for a great how-to. My puppy’s face, neck, and tail are ok. Tomorrow, I will tackle her body.

We have recently aquired a doodle in bad shape too .all matted up fur . Since we cant get a groomer till about 3 weeks out we are going to have to tackle this ourselves .this video helped us out a lot . Thank you for what you do 😊

Aww I wanted to see you comb8ng the body and how to shave her underneath. What kind of clippers do you have? I have a sheltie. I brush her everywhere. I'd like to shave her underneath so that she can lay on something cool. Mine is 12. I've had her 5 years. Her original mom died so she was up for a new home. I was the lucky one who got her. She has been going to a groomer originally in RI. I took her to a couple in the area bur I didn't like what they did. You must put her on her side to shave underneath? I'm glad the family stepped in to have her see you. Thank you

Hi, I saw your TH-cam channel video and understood that Very nice video. You have 506 subscribers but videos are not more watched and subscribers because your video is not SEO. I have analysed and realised that your TH-cam channel is not progressing and improving. It is responsible for: 1. Not SEO channel videos properly. 2. None of your videos have good tags. 3. There is no good tag in the channel. 4. Keywords used are not researched properly. 5. Videos are not promoted properly. 6. The description is not attractive.

Hey Karen! Boy do we have a lot in common!! Lol. I was also a certified master groomer in the DFW, Texas metroplex. I also competed in grooming shows as well as conformation and obedience. You make me miss my home town, in Eugene Or. I went to high school in Beaverton Or. I think the strangest request was an owner cam in with a Maltese puppy. Her main request was shorter legs, poofy all over and short around the face. So I scissored the legs and face and evened up the body. Owner came and wanted the face even shorter. So I took the puppy back and took more coat off the face. Nope, not what she wanted. I grabbed a dog magazine to show her what a Maltese usually looks like and as I’m thumbing through to find the picture, she stops and points. “Thats what I want her to lol like!” I tried sooo hard not to laugh but told her if you want your dog to look like a Pomeranian, then she should have gotten one. I then explained the differences between the coats and such. I told her that no matter what I did or how much I tried, I could never get a Maltese pup look like a Pom. Ohhh the stories we could share!!! Lol. Oh. Also a retired horse trainer as well.

Try to never shave a Sheltie. It is a shame this dog's care was neglected. Annie is an extreme case - nice job.

My doodle is matted. He will be one next month he use to let me groom him myself but as he got bigger he stopped letting me. I’ve took him to one groomer near me and they did a horrible job and all the good ones are boooooked. It’s been 3 whole months since he’s been shaved and his fur is so long brushing does absolutely nothing. His outer coat is not matted but his undercoat is terrible 😪 I feel so bad for him. I just spent a lot of money on home grooming equipment I hope he’ll let me once it all arrives

yes i agree you never want to jump to conclusions but as a groomer i am an advocate for the dog first and foremost. Just like a teacher is for a student in their class. So what i do in this situation is always ask when was the last time they were groomed and get a conversation going so that i can educate the owners on how to properly take care of the dog. The dogs well being comes before feelings in my book. I will take the time to explain how horrible the dog feels when like this and how unhealthy and painful it is to be in this condition. So that this wont happen in the future.

So you started off by slamming the owners, by saying you wouldn’t slam them, lol. I recently had my groomer cancel right before I went on vacation to a remote beach where there was 0 chance of getting my labradoodle groomed. After just two days of swimming and having fun at the beach he was completely matted beyond brushing. GROOMERS ARE THE MOST FLAKEY PEOPLE ON THE PLANET! 9 TIMES OUT OF 10 GROOMERS DO WHAT IS EASIEST FOR THEM! I learned nothing from you video except that you are a typical groomer suffering from hating your job, you just take it out on the owners.
