It's basically because I didn't have a decent camera so my phone camera was the best choice and, as you tend to show a guitar vertically when not playing it, portrait seemed the best choice. But, yes, I agree, landscape is a better format, especially if your audience is watching on a phone.

I've just watched this back and i do it a lot differently now in performances, slower and in a higher key which makes it sound a lot more emotional - will have to re-record at some point

I couldn't tell you off the top of my head, but it's not long. I will run it down and time it for you.

This took a while because of the auto power off when there is no activity (great feature) but I've been using it all week and it only ran out today! I then charged it and checked on it after the 1st hour (was over half way charged) and after an hour and a half. On the second hour it was really close to fully charged and stopped flashing at about 2hrs10mins (but note that to check it I had unplugged and connected to it via Bluetooth so that might add somef minutes to the charge time). So it takes roughly 2 hours to fully charge from totally empty. That's pretty good I reckon!

Hey. I could do a side by side with the same song however, my audio set up might not make it very representative via TH-cam Vs in person plus they both have a lot of different settings so it would be tricky to decide on the settings to use. What I can tell you is that, plugged into a pa, they both sound great when using a pick. The sonic is a lot of fun but its heavy and bigger than the sp1 so if it's a travel guitar you are after then you can't go wrong with the sp1. Unplugged at low volumes the sonic sounds great but starts to rattle a bit out of the speaker at extreme volume. The sp1 sounds ok unplugged, though a lot better with a pick than without. I've done open mics with both and they perform well, in fact I am using the sp1 almost all the time at the moment while I wait for my new guitar

It's a tricky question as they fill different niches. If you want a great travel acoustic then the SP1 but the sonic go is a lot more impressive, feels and looks really nice and is just a lot of fun. If you don't need the travel aspect then go sonic
