Thank you for all of your advice
Hello im from Philippines i love watching your Vlog antiques God Bless❤
I’m 22 and I have a collection of Mexican ancient antiques
You dont rub pearls on teeth that scratches them. Sheesh Feel for cold, examine the drill holes to check for fake nacre, feel the weight, look for knotting between, lustre etc.
Thank you thank you thank you for your attention to detail
Thank you for this video! 😀💐
Loved this so very much I am going around now and putting my pearls to my teeth. My dear late parents visited Japan in the 70's and visited the Mikimoto factory. I have a few pieces but there was one item a Silver 6 pearl broch and I put it to my teeth and immediately felt the grittiness . THANK YOU.
Interestingly, the baroque movement in the arts was actually named after a misshapen pearl and not the other way around-- great video though
It caught your eyes that the word 😔😂🤣 things you collects that what you want to see after after you returned from work and during your off day
Beautiful subject, beautifully explained. Thank you.
What ever happened to those ancient Panamanian and Venezuelan pearls? Are any of them in notable collections today.
Wow, excellent information.
YOU DO HAVE SOME EXQUISITE PIECES
Fascinating!!! Thank you for posting!
Dude looks like Chris Farley.
I wish they would make hundreds of these videos
Hello CAN you tell me if Pearls (hb original patent ) are rare ? Whats the origine of HB please ?
Keep up these little videos, Chris!! There is such little quality educational antique "content" online. Really there is nothing aside from the usual ebay/thrift nonsense. Now that you've teased everybody with the cameo piece at the end you should show off some Daum, Galle, and LCT! I'd make such a video myself, but as you know there's only so much time in the day when you've got a shop to run. All the best :)
Enjoyed 😊❤

This is the first time I've heard it explained WHY pearls should be worn and how doing so will maintain their luster. It makes so much sense! When you said this, I immediately paused the video and ran to put my pearls on! They spend 99% of their time in their case, rarely worn. It's time to revive these babies! Thank you so much for such a clear, informative video! ❤
So insightful !
Does a stamp "sterling IND Japan" mean the item is sterling silver?
Wow
Super clear presentation you are obviously an expert with an ability to make a presentation fascinating
Are you sure it isn't Russian style circa 1910?
Wonderful video.

Wonderful. Thankyou.
Thank you for watching!
Please keep the camera on the jewelry while speak of it or at least longer so we can really see the piece and understand its symbolism
What I learned when I lived in Newport, Rhode Island, is in the late 1800s Mrs. Ogden Goelet is the woman who owned the building that is now The Tiffany Building. It was indeed a fair trade. Mrs. Goelet also built the magnificent French Style Ochre Court in Newport, Rhode Island. That is where I attended Salve Regina.-The Newport College.
Lovely
Too short...we need to see and hear more😢
