This is a group of masters..marco is relentless, a full orchestras worth of percussion knowledge at speed and with feeling. ... Brian is a journeyman master with an impish touch. I've played for 34 years now, and I love the chameleon way he moves from style to style...his outline is always there. But the colors and patterns are right. Just my humble opinion...and guthrie is every guitarists aspiration once they get serious...righteous rock god...chicken picker..you name it, he has a suit for the occasion, so to speak. The poweriest of trios.
Jack is alive! To me he seems a character from a Terry Pratchet Novel or a Lucas Arts game... It's amazing how they can make images come out of the music. I want an Aristocrats score for a movie, maybe an animation one...

In this day and age we have 1.5 Billion! views for a song about the Bass that is completely Dr'd up, but here we have 3 virtuosos with under 4K views. Can someone tell me what happened?
You really think it's reasonable that the average person should enjoy instrumental fusion? The whole point of pop music is that it's catchy and simple so that the majority of people can enjoy it together, which is something i don't think the world could do without. I don't think Guthrie regretted playing for dizzee rascal for one minute. These guys even said in an interview that they mostly listen to pop music on tour and try to avoid listening to complex fusioney stuff
@@chrisboyd2827 hey if people want to remain simple in their understanding of music that’s their decision, but they shouldn’t be held back from raising their standards either.
And wanting to listen to less heavy stuff is understandable, I don’t think I could last listening to fusion jazz all day either.
