🔵I LIKE THE AVOCADO GREEN MACH1 BETTER EVEN THOUGH IS NOT COMPLETLY STOCK. I HAD ONE JUST LIKE IT AND SAME COLOR, BUT THE REAR LIGHT PANEL ON MINE WAS BLACK TO GO WITH THE HOOD. AND THE BLACK ON THE HOOD AND REAR LIGHT PANEL WAS A FURRY BLACK MATERIAL. MINE WAS A 351 BUT DON'T REMEMBER WHEN I BOUGHT IT IN 69, IF IT WAS A WINDSOR OR CLEVELAND. MINE WAS STOCK AND IF I HAD NOT TRADED IT IN FOR THE 72 MUSTANG SPRINT I WOULD'HD KEPT IT STOCK.🔴

Silly question, Would it make more sense to open the fill plug on the transmission first? My thinking is, if you open the drain plug and drain the fluid then can't get the fill plug open, you're screwed.

Nothing looks better then a 69, plus your 70 is no longer a 70 lol. It's your car do what you want, but I say enjoy the cars for what they are and were. What's the point of owning a classic when you change it to a modern ride ? I can see front discs and some upgrades, but satellite radio, back up cameras, cmon now , lol , lol. I say enjoy the classics as they are, that's why they are called classics.

I got a piston skirt broke in a 2009 gt500 right now,with silver metal flakes with no copper flakes,all aluminum in color.oil pressure is great,and car has a very very slight shake but not a miss its not the same it moves hard to explane,that little vibration is a unbalance piston and the knock is piston knock,pulled both valve covers cam and heads perfect.no plastic so rules out timing guide, compression test 175-180 all cylinders except drivers side 3 hold back from front tested at 141 dry(178 wet)sorry i stopped typing as soon as you said timeing tensioner,this is crazy.not my problem got metal in oil,starting engine removal monday,car black/white stripes black interior very sharp car,took me 2 days ruling out and good oil pressure.good job guys i will check this.

"From a dig" - people can say all they want...the same thing was true with the 03/04 Cobras and Mach 1s. Quarter mile, the Mach1 had the potential to (and did) edge out the Cobra on many occasions....but after that the Cobra was like a freight train. And this is coming from someone who had an 03 Cobra :)

all that car needs is an ESS G3 centrifugal supercharger, oil pump gears and crank sprocket and it would run circles around the GT500, easy.....give Ken at HPR in Henderson Tennessee a call and thank me later
