I wasn’t even anticipating this book and yet I feel honored that we got it sooner than the authors home country. I’ve been listening to it and it’s amazing

I remember my first time reading, the moment Ferro proposed *romance* my head was full of what their kid would be like. She's so cold and brutal but Logan rubbed off on her which is insane and beautiful. After their first romp, Ferro wakes up first and mistaking her situation, not being used to sleeping comfortably, or sleeping at all, accidentally elbows Logen in the face, then a language barrier prevents her from apologising. That part really colours the rest of their relationship i think. Broke my heart. Im not a big reader but these books got me good. I think her ending is okay, she was strong before but now she has more power to draw from, is even more insane than before but sets off to get what she always wanted, all she has known and what I think she deserves - vengance, finally - ignoring demon voices, even after touching the other side so intimately, her purest self wins and the voices have to take a back seat while she borrows their power to seek blood of men. I love Ferro, thanks for the talk.

The most underrated fantasy series I have read is the Hussite Wars trilogy by Sapkowski. Everyone knows him for the Witcher. The first book is the Tower of Fools.

I’m trying to complete out my fantasy series and seeing the rise and fall of this character and author, I am using it as a cautionary tale. Just found your podcast, love the conversation.

I thought it was actually great. Its not exactly the Italian Job but I don't think anyone was expecting that going in. It felt like D&D and it was fun. I have a hard time justifying more.
