Someone I've lost has a bday coming it hurts bad. I'm okay but this track I always turn to it both provides a level of hope that is on the cusp of being utterly and permanently unobtainable yet is undeniably present and in a way which cannot be articulated or even closely understood by mankind and in a way which opens a labrynth of even more keyholes of time and space and in between And simultaneously this song submerged my heart in a place so dark and beyond the possibility of light that hope becomes a myth and the Abyss begins to open its eyes to acknowledge my presence That's the best I can describe the feeling I get meditating to this This hurts bad yet I shrugoff the pain and live safe and sound right here in the present moment This is where I'm placing my energy I hope I'm doing it right All my love to those struggling R.i.p. chi❤

That show was amazing. Chino's voice, Shaun on the music just blew it away. The sound there was truly incomparable to a recording but I love looking at these because I get to relive the moment. Great show, amazing performance. Worth the 4 hour drive and I cant wait to see them again♡

I’m still so pissed Deftones won’t release this album. Like if I was Chi I would want my last work I put my heart and soul into to be released so I could live on through that as a goodbye. But no they just bury it, they say out of respect but I find it insanely disrespectful. They buried the album and immediately worked on a new one with a new guy like nothing happened, I get that it was to probably cope and stay busy. But come the fuck on, it’s been how many years now? I doubt Chi would have want to have his legacy or last work he spent the last years of his life on to be buried. It’s so frustrating

When I was a kid my mom said "you know when you are older you wont listen to this crap". And she was mostly right. Except the deftones. Adrenaline was there when I was an angry teenager. Ohms was there when I quit drinking at 38. Seems like every major chapter in my life has had a new deftones album to go along with it. We grew up at the same time. So many break up songs. So many lows and so many highs. So many cries RIP Chi.
