With an aim to increase household incomes to the money economy, the Parish Development Model-PDM was launched in Bukedi region by the National Resistance Movement-NRM led by His Excellence General Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibahaburwa
This program is penetrating the physiology of many rural Ugandans.
Ugandans need transformation from the culture of working for subsistence to the culture of working for stomach but also the pocket.
With what the PDM beneficiaries are exhibiting, it is upon the leaders to continue giving good guidance to the final consumers of the project.
Parish Development Model-PDM is a community development approach focused on empowering local communities in rural areas to identify and address their specific needs through participatory decision making processes and collaboration with various stakeholders.
The model aims to enhance the overall well-being and quality of life in rural areas by addressing social, economic, environmental and cultural aspects of development in an integrated manner.
