please install decompressor cable and learn how to kick start then..its lot easier and helps prime the oil as well ,so there is no damage right from the start

Hello sir u have informed that u have installed a 535 bore kit .will u please let me know 535bore kit belongs to which bike.
Continental GT 535. I don’t recommend. I had to switch back to stock.
Sir need u contact no I have restored the bike completely but I am not happy with the engine performance.I don't know that's wrong.
When the engine was dismantle it had a 535 piston in it

Is the clutch and brake lever stock or other models of RE you replaced it? Mine machismo 350 which has got black but wanted to go the silver colour slightly thicker

Bro I have installed 1975 old carburettor in machismo 500 . Does it effect on mileage?
I think the performance would get affected. The AVL engine requires a different carburettor. The jets inside are slightly bigger than the older carburettor.

Hi brother, the exhaust of my Machismo 350 AVL rusted away , is it okay to fit a standard 350 bs6 stock exhaust on it?
Do you recommend tappets to be tight medium or loose for the good exhaust sound and for engine performance??
In my experience, adjusting the tappets to thumb free movement is best. Make sure the piston is at top dead centre, tighten tappets till there is no up and down play of the pushrod. Ensure, that the pushrods are able to spin freely side to side when you try to move it with the thumb. If it doesn't move freely side to side, then it's too tight.
If done this way, no engine heating, better mileage, better pickup.

Hi Abhishek, mine is a 2009 machismo AVL 350, recently I had tightened the tappets now I am facing some sort knocking issues. Could you please guide me on this
Hi Ram, please don't tighten the tappets too much. The pushrod should spin freely side to side but not move up and down.

It depends on how the bike was maintained. If it was maintained well, then you'll enjoy the bike. If not, you'll spend a lot of money on repairs.

@@nevadastronghold Sir, I recommend the Green air filter for the intake. UCD 33mm carburetor. No, it doesn't have oil pump feeding into the exhaust.
Is it hard to get the machismo spare parts Abhishek.
The parts are still available. Only the bore piston kit is hard to source.

I also have AVL machismo 350 cc i have since 2005 i bought it from royal Enfield that time first hand machismo and still stock but i cannot find the rear brake light of machismo so i placed a standard light

I recommend you try to buy the bucket seat. It's better for long trips.

This is the best bike ever my dad had the same bike in green colour dad sold it because I was always riding tht bike and I will not study at all because of tht reason my dad sold tht bike I started crying 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭when I saw ur video and I miss my dad's bike this bike gives as a gud milega and superb speed only thing is there will be slight tappet noise when the engine becomes hot...any way gud tht ur having this bike pls don't sell this bike if u sell u will regret a lot for example me 😭...and now I got the same bike where as it is in cast iron engine that's all
I will never sell the Machismo 500. It's a rare motorcycle.

I have the same machismo 500 2008 model I am facing a problem that is while giving throttle I am having missing issues coul u help me out
There are multiple things to check. All the breather pipes need to be checked, get the carburetor cleaned, buy a platinum or iridium sparkplug. Let me know if the issue persists.

The tanks looks smaller than the Standard 500 but it can take 14 litres

Hi. I just purchased a second hand machismo lb 500 for restoration. Can u tell me which carburetor was used by enfield in stock condition in this bike.

Its a beautiful bike, you have maintained it really well, i have the 2009 machismo 500. Where are you getting it serviced in bangalore? i am not happy with my mechanic, he has done a shoddy job with it. It will be great help if you can lead me to a decent mechanic. Also where can i purchase the stock silencer? Thanks in Advance :)
I tried 7 mechanics(big names) in Bangalore, all of them ruined my bike. Now I'm giving it with Mubarak from Seshadripuram behind Natraj theatre. He did a fantastic job on the bike. I'll post the new restored bike video soon. The stock silencer is hard to get. However, you can try at UK auto spares in Seshadripuram.
