When I was celebrating my 18th birthday vacationing in Singapore on February CNY, it was my first time in my life taking a metro. It was very fun taking the MRT knowing that you can quickly go from A to B in 10-30 mins unlike here in the Philippines where it’s a car-centric country where commuting by car for 15km can take 60-90 min (10-15km/h average trip speed) and the metro system is not even built from home to school. This was the beginning of my interest in public transport especially Singapore MRT and it has been my greatest 18th birthday gift so much I missed Singapore, envied the MRT, especially this video showed Jewel Changi which is the first destination in my vacation to eat lunch before going to the hotel and last for dinner before finally leaving Singapore. Now to quench my envies after leaving Singapore, I started watching your channel and other train otakus documenting these precious moments of the MRT. To top it off, all I can say is thank you Singapore for the greatest birthday gift and to Vanna and the Singaporean train otakus for helping me thru my envies for the best metro in the world, where unlike here I have to suffer thru traffic jams at home here in the Philippines. To prove I have been to Singapore: I have been in the night where a massive crowd ran for cover when it rained in the CNY drone show at Marina Bay Sands.
