The Alfa Romeo was 4x4 with an engine of almost 500 hp while the germans were rear wheel driven cars with mercedes up to 420 hp..i dont know how the rules allowed this btw.

DTM was the best motorracing series of europe in that time! Was SOO aggressive, and those cars, simply beautiful! Love the Alfa Romeo 155ti the M3s and the gorgeus MB!!!
Fantastic picture quality both external and onboard. Why is it not as good these days ? F1 for example can be frustrating to watch because of the constant picture break up and poor angles chosen

At least the cars are made of metal again. The class 1 prototypes in the past deacdes had nothing to do with touring cars.
